@Katana991 Why in the world would it damage your computer.. I dont like these people that just think touching their computer makes it spontaneously explode. Its not too hard. The Emulator IS the console but on a computer. ROMs and ISOs -are- the cartridges on the computer, but as for getting them or owning them.. dont ask me. Cant do that here. So conclusion: Emulator loads ROM is equivalent to sticking a cartridge or CD in a console. Get it yet?

@Katana991 It's the game data that would otherwise be on a game cartridge or disc. If you open a rom file in an emulator it's like turning on a console with the game in it.
@WINGMASTER7 Also (I don't understand computers too well), what exactly is a ROM? Is it a disc?
@Katana991 The patch is entirely safe. Getting a clean rom shouldn't be too hard as well.

@Katana991 You apply the translation patch from mother3(DOT)fobby(DOT)net to the japenese rom and then play it in an emulator. A bit of googling should set you up with everything.
@WINGMASTER7 Just curious, how do you play the fan translated game? Is it a computer download, or is there a game pak haked into and translated into English?

I've listened to this song around 80 times so far because it's so awesome. I've heard people also expressing disatisfaction with today's music. Any genre of music is fine to me. The problem is how much of it is being marketed. MUSIC DOES NOT EQUAL SEX! They seem to be looking at it from how strange a music star can dress rather than what they actually perform or even political statements made in words during interviews rather than the songs made.

@MegaMantineX you need headphones, just try to listen for the bass line, i got into combo-ing by going into the combat book (chapter two) and combo-ing to the ghost's song for about 20 minutes when i got a five hit combo, it takes a while to get used to

people, ay given song in any given mother game is a refernce to several songs, plus lots of originality. Everyone involved in these games loves music with a passion.
They allude many things in the Mother Series, and yes, Dr. Wily's stage is one of the allusions.
It's a shame, there is not a good remix for this truly epic song.

Just start up a combo after the fast part starts. The slow parts and the transitions are trickier. I tend to not look at the screen (I focus on the beats) and I alternate between the A and L buttons when I combo.

Most of the music has a much more relaxing style than this in the game. You need to play it. I like Earthbound, but this game has more going on in the first 20 minutes than Earthbound had in 20 hours...
