Mother 3 was the perfect OFFICIAL end for the mother series. And I love how it all turned out!
This game truly had an impact on me. I will never forget this.

I love this game so much. It's not my favourite game, but I think it's the only game that's ever brought out genuine emotion in me, other than a sense of being a badass/fighting against impossible odds/any other videogame cliche. It's not my favourite game, but it is the best one I've ever played, if that makes any sense.

@poochieindahaus Geez, that's unfortunate. Not sure where I'd be able to track down a copy of Earthbound. We can always hope for remakes of Earthbound and/or Mother 3 though, right?
I love this song! This is probably in the top 10 of my favorite Mother 3 songs.

@Bowserian Yes i kind of left that out haha but i've been following them since they began and they're doing an excellent job. I've listened to the mother 4 soundtrack, screenshots, and music when they power up. I actually forgot to mention that because they're doing such a great job with the game, that it feels, looks, and sounds professional and just like the other Mother games. I know Mother 4 is going to be great.
A remake on this game for the 3DS would be epic <3

I totally forgot about this song, this is great. You wouldn't think this should be Duster's theme, but it tells you a lot about what he must want in life.

I have to say this, but this sounds similar to Our Journey from Breath of Fire II.
@heyjeySigma it's gonna be for the computer. i believe they might a have a downloading feature when it's ready and you'll have a shortcut on your desktop where you play the game. it's just like playing Mother 3 on an emulator except you don't need the emulator for Mother 4. It's running on its own.

Hope you guys know that there is a Mother 4 coming out. Not under the development of Shigesato Itoi, but from some other people. They've been working on it for about 3 years now.
Finally have access to a legitamite non pirate, full english copy of Earthbound. Problem? It's worth almost a whole console, and I'm trying to save money for a house... This is torture...

Amazing game, i wasnt really into the Earthbound/Mother series before, this game got my heart though, currently at the end of chapter 5 i think but i havent played for months
One day, Nintendo better announce all three Mother games to be released on Wii U and 3DS with way better graphics. They've done stuff like that before.
@GameBeatenakaKevinS Earthbound has not been released on the virtual console because there was too many copyrighted songs and Beatles references on it. In order for Nintendo to release the game they would have to change way too much of it, then re-release it; something that the game developers could not be bothered to do. As for Mother 3 being released outside of Japan, they didn't think it'd sell enough copies outside of Japan.

This is one of my favorite songs from this album!
I'm a fan of Duster. I like how Nintendo used the snake rope from this game in Zelda Spirit Tracks. It might also in turn be what inspired them to use the whip in Skyward Sword.
