I've never played any of the mother games so I don't know what the "sunflowers field scene" is. All I know is that this song is really sad.
Mother 3, beautiful and interesting game. A game that I wish I had the opportunity to play myself. Fantastic OST and as many have already said, emotional. Respect. I recommend Chuggaconroy's let's play of it
Just download an emulator (I'd recommend visualboyadvance if you're using Windows). Then, get the ROM and the fan translation. There's no shame in pirating this particular game since Nintendo doesn't make any profit off it, even if you buy the official cart.

Chapter 6 in this game was too hard, I couldn't beat it.
I know, right? Chapter 6 was so long that I had to stop playing... and the boss at the end..... don't get me started on her....

This is definitely the best Game Boy Advance game for me. There's so many emotions you go through as you play the game, from happiness to pure hatred and rage to sadness. Playing Mother 3 is not just playing a game: It is an experience.

All thanks to your channel that I checked out the Mother series. Thanks. Definitely changes the way I look at video games, and Earthbound and Mother 3 had a bigger emotional impact on me than any video game, ever. The community is still strong after all these years. I wish that played Earthbound growing up so much, but it's nice that I get to understand it all now. Happy Mother's Day, I see what you did there Supra.
It's flooding back
I understand how Nintendo finds this game to be too risque to release overseas, but after seeing the love and positive things fans have to say about this game, that should be a clear sign that it would be a welcome game outside of Japan.
I love this song. I will agree that the sprite work is absolutely stunning for a handheld game. It also seems very fitting on Mother's Day.
I actually got my own copy of this yesterday after about a month of waiting. Cost me a fair bit too but I'm happy to own it.

Sunflowers can represent many things depending on the person. Many associate them as symbols of the sun, love and/or happiness.
Hinawa means sunflower.

I guess it's been a while since I've had a look at Mother 3, been meaning to for a while. Can definitely say this music stirred up some emotions. This game is simply a masterpiece.

One of my favorite stories in a video game. It also has the best sprite work I've ever seen, perfectly translating the characters' feelings through GBA's tiny screen. "Emotional" is probably the word I'd use to summarize this game, as you go through a variety of emotions during the game's memorable story. The sunflowers field scene was quite something.
I have actually seen people rank this game's emotion against the emotions of the Metal Gear Solid series.

How ironic, my second favorite game of all time is Metal Gear Sold 1, while my all time favorite game is Mother 3. Like holy crap, this game is amazing...... AND NEEDS AN OFFICIAL RELEASE IN THE WEST.... just saying, Big N ;)
