I just finished this chapter and I keep being amazed how awesome this game is, and I love the fact they show different sides of the story and the same locations before and after. the game constantly keeps me surprised and exploring. I had the same feeling with superstar saga and golden sun, (man i love the gba!)
It's been about a year since I last played through Mother 3. This music still makes me unbearably sad. It's time to re-play it.

Any localization attempt for Earthbound in multi5 languages for europe is impossible due to programming issues: the game data (cutscene, npc, programming...) is jumbled with the script. No excuse for them for mother 3 though. Or they could simply remake it

Professor Layton music in Mother3! ...It always feels like the accordion is a trademark of the awesome puzzle games starring the famous archaeologist in a top hat!

I'm surprised anyone actually knows about that theme! The two pieces of music that are actually available from EB64 are still my favorite VGM of all time. Especially Tazmily's theme!

Well it may be the original name, but Fassad is actually a more fitting translation than merely putting Yokuba. According to a quick search, Yokuba roughly translates to excessive greed in Japanese. Giving him the name Fassad, IE facade, is in my opinion a good idea. Facade may not be the same as greed, but both describe his character... and Greedo would sound like a Star Wars reference, even if it would be a more accurate translation.

I like Yokuba better. Plus its more funny when fighting New Yokuba. Makes me think of New York. New Fassad doesnt have the same ring to it at all.
Well, Yokuba sound better, but Fassad is the (un)official English name choosed by the translation team. You can just use whichever you like.
This is definately one of the more overlooked track i think. Its definately one of my favorites. I'm glad you picked this one.

Stupid Happy Boxes... I love nearly all of the music in this game, but I think I like the stuff at the beginning best. That might just be because it impacted me first though.

Great song from a great game. There were so many other sad moments, I had almost forgot about Salsa. But his was surely a sad chapter.
Go play it then! This game is genius and Nintendo was being stupid not releasing it outside of Japan. But it's available in english just google it.
