+Kaison Williams Actually there is a GBA emulator for mac. OpenEMU running the Mother 3 Fan Translation worked on my MacBook Air.
Replaying this game on my iPod on a GBA emulator I got. Dare I say, it has an even better story line than Earthbound? Mother 3 was a well deserved climax to this amazing RPG series.

I beat this game myself a couple of years ago, but now this track just makes me think of Spelunky.

The only problem I had was for saving.. I had to freeze and defrost the game but i run it on my mac perfectly in english
this was one of the first areas you explored and the music gave it an awesome atmosphere. I still haven't finished the game yet (I think they've finally told me what the evil plot is about!) and exploring this game is awesome. It's really different from earthbound but really fun too.
I've played Mother 3 on the Mac with VBA on patch versions 1.0 and 1.1, and both work perfectly. No idea what it is you're doing wrong

Well, the game doesn't have an english release, but there is a Rom with an english patch you can look up.

you could always install bootcamp so you can run windows.
I know alot of people are gonna hate me for saying this, but for some reason, the Mother series's feel creeps me out, which is why I've never been a big fan of it.
Amazing, this is by far one of my favourite songs in Mother 3. Chapter Four has a big shift in the feel of the game, and the character in this song really helps bring that out.
I'm fond of the Fresh Prince of Belair mix.
This entire game was amazing, thanks to the great people who did the Fan Translation for us to play it in English!
This series really deserved the 1000th spot on your list. Such incredible music, for excellent games.

While Earthbound has a quirkier soundtrack (which I prefer overall), Shogo Sakai pulled a real tour de force on the GBA with Mother 3. It feels more serious and tragic, greatly accompanying the emotional storyline and some of the best sprite work I've ever seen. Playing through this game a 2nd time will probably make me appreciate it even more.
