i loved the water temple xD the one i hate most is the shadow one. so many skulltullas (well, not that mjuch but.. you get my gist xD) i ALWAYS miss one key and can't find it ç_ç

I just beat this game for the first time yesterday. I beat the Water temple for the first time a few days before that. To everyone who complained about the key underneath the main structure and about the time block hidden behind the Longshot....... Thanks!! By seeing the complaints underneath this vid prior to starting the game, you might've saved me some time clearing this Temple (in a single sitting, no less)! It was still tedious having to switch boots and float/sink constantly though.

I loved the temples so much. Not only did them symbolize so much, they even messed with your head. Water levels flipping around and what not. I still cringe when I think of the Shadow temple though...

@imraw17 I first played this game when I was 12, and no, the Water Temple really didn't give me trouble. Forest Temple and Fire Temple did though, between finding the keys and getting through the fire maze. Shadow Temple boss did for a while too until I figured out how easy it is to shoot it's hands. Also, stop using the word "faggot" to describe someone you dislike and stop resorting to personal attacks instead of using valid arguments.

I still think anyone who had trouble with this temple is just really bad at games in general. This was far more manageable than finding the keys in the Forest Temple, the entirety of the Fire Temple, and the magic draining of the Shadow Temple.

I can't honestly remember this being that bad. Albeit there was a key chest hiding on the 2nd level near the Triforce chest that took me forever to find, I enjoyed this temple. :) Haters gonna hate.

@SoulHeartRS Not really, the temple layout is identical as far as i could see, but there are some florescent markings to make getting around the temple less confusing. Other than that, the temple is less annoying on 3ds because of the fact you can equip the iron boots buy use of a button and not always pausing the game.

I ALWAYS miss one key. ALWAYS. other than that the water temple isn't as bad as people say it is. The mini boss is AWESOME, and you get the long shot. Also, going into the menu is not as annoying as some people say it is. Don't get me wrong, it's the most evil temple int he game and still hard. But it's not as bad as people say it is.

Loved the music. Hated the temple. I would bold, italicize and underline the term hated if I could. Although, at one point in my life I could run through it and get everything from memory while backtracking as little as possible. The first time I did it I think I might have scared myself.

The freakin' water temple was a headache for me. I remember I cried because I couldn't pass this place. I restarted the game all over again three times. It was a problem with an eye switch. When I passed it... I was so happy that I considered myself a genius :D But Zelda is like that: Always putting puzzles to our heads.

Btw, The reason that people had trouble with this dungeon is a simple fact, When the game was first released, you could flip a switch out of order and not be able to finish it. YOu then had to restart your game over in order to get passed the temple, the entire game over. A week after its relese they game was altered in the later ones that were put out on the shelves... allowing the temple to not be soo "INSANE"

the big problem when i played through this was after you beat dark link you see a chest i open it and leave never knowing that the blue block (which is the same color as the room itself ) was a song of time block i almost restarted the game twice because of that

Lol i was stuck for a long time finding that last key when i was yonger, but man did i love to be in the water temple and feel solited Comfortable evrytime i got there. Shadow temple rest of the game was piece of cake :).

Yeah, this place was always relatively easy to me.. except for the first time I played, but that's normal.. I've become extremely talented at this game, so nothing bothers me anymore, except having to wait to here the awesome music in the game..

I had some trouble in this dungeon because of Dark Link but I discovered that the hookshot+Din's Fire work pretty well.

To all who still miss that shitty last key, check under the floating block area inside the middle of the temple (where you start changing water levels from down to top)

@ManfredMitchum I remember the first time I played through the Well I wanted to throw the controller through the TV because I couldn't figure out that all you had to do was crawl through the little hole at the very beginning XD Good times...

Sigh your dodging my point on purpose arent you. Its a classic, Classics age, they are still some of the best things out there, but they will get so old eventually that they will be forgotten. TP will be a classic too

oot is a timeless classic, it cant be replaced. Twilight princess is newer, it is like oot but it was much more engaging and complete. OoT will always have a special place in our hearts, but all good things get old.

True, the forest temple was the hardest. I remember i got stuck and had to leave the place, in order to go the other way at the rotating corridor.

@Krissdafish I guess, I never had any trouble. In fact, this dungeon took the least amount of time for me to beat, because there was some stupid thing in many others (like in the Fire Temple, there is that one jump that looks like you can't make it) Plus, if I'm stuck, I just go through each room and check everything :P

Actually, he wasn't waiting for you at the tree at first. When you walk in to the room, you just naturally head straight. Once you pass the island, your reflection on the water isn't there anymore.

One of several reasons the Iron Boots are better in Twilight Princess. All you need to do is press a button to put them on and take them off, instead of going through the menu.

At 17 now, I never understood why other kids had so much trouble with this dungeon when I was younger. I guess it just came naturally to me, getting through it....I actually really liked the design of the dungeon, especially the whirlpool room and the infamous misty pool of water with the lonely isle in the middle....and waiting for you at the tree like an old friend is Dark Link. Not my favorite dungeon, but not the WORST. Shadow Temple was the worst IMO.

Its the fact that you have to take the boots off and put them back off in a process in which you must go to the main menu, press them, wait 5 seconds, choose save/dont save do what you have to do with them, then repeat 12314332 times for the next sixteen hours

Nah, to me, the Shadow Temple was just annoying, but it wasn't as bad as the Water Temple in terms of difficulty. And if you want a Nintendo that can give you a good scare instead of just one temple in a game, try Eternal Darkness.

This temple was a pain in the ass, but i honestly thought the Shadow temple was worse. Maybe because i was 9-ish when i played it and the shadow temple just scared the hell out of me, but i thought that was far more frustrating.

I dont see why everyone hated this temple. Alongside Forest Temple, it's probably one of the most atmospheric dungeons in the game. And it wasnt THAT hard!

The infamous Water Temple. I have to say, for some reason, I never had that much trouble with this dungeon even the first time I played. It was a really memorable temple though, I'll always remember the giant room with a small tree where you fight the fake Link.
