A true masterpiece that stands the test of time. Everytime I upload a track from it, I feel like playing through it again. The feeling I had when I played it for the first time is almost indescribable, I was in awe. I had never been so immersed in a game before, be it inside the amazing dungeons or outside simply running around while the sun sets. Starting the game in Link's house with this classic theme playing, you wouldn't think how epic the adventure would end up being (gotta break all the pots).

In my opinion, Ocarina has the best overall soundtrack of any Zelda. Its music is a huge part of what glues it to my mind. Every Zelda since then has not only had me looking for better gameplay but with each iteration I'm looking for a soundtrack to match or surpass Ocarina's. Hasn't happened yet. I have great excitement for Breath of the Wild but a little piece of me worries whether the more airy style of music will largely replace the addictively catchy scores of Kondo's past works.

Where's lost wood theme Supradarky?
Seems every Zelda game from this point always has a remixed version of this theme.
Truly one of the best games ever. The only game that beats this one in atmosphere is Super Metroid.
This is a slower tempo then normal.
Still have not played this game, yet I know a good majority of the themes/names of locations/characters/items, as well as the ending. Hopefully I'll still be able to enjoy it when I eventually do play it.
Where is Fragance of Dark Coffee (Ace Attorney in GBA)?!
Wasn't this faster in the game?
Not that I can recall, maybe they sped it up for majora, or the 3ds remakes?

Played the original game recently and it really amazes me, how well this game holds up even today. I have to hold back my nostalgia for this game, or else this will turn into another tl;dr comment about how awesome OoT is. Lets just say that even though the game does show it's age in some aspects, it is still one of my all-time favorite games and rightfully so. I started gaming with the NES (more towards the end) and later moved to the SNES and though both consoles had awesome games, I would have never imagined a game to be as big as OoT seemed back in 1998.

I was 7 when this came out and bringing it home was exciting! I've beaten it countless times. When me and my brother first pulled the master sword out and saw Link as an adult, it was a moment of glee that I remember fondly. I found myself enjoying the game a lot more when Link became an adult, more so than the parts you play as Young Link.
