This sounds like it would be more suited for a mystery game than a town theme in an RPG, but it's still so good.

Such a great soundtrack! It wasn't until recently that I actually realized that every single town in the game has its own unique music that you hear nowhere else.

+Reaper679 Paper Mario is about as close as you can get. Without square, it just wasn't the same.

My favorite Shimomura soundtrack and one of my favorites in a video game. I like this game so much I made a "Journey in Music" video shortly after opening this channel (see description). Seaside Town especially is one of my favorite town themes, I even made a simple piano cover of it. Monstro Town is also very good, the game is just full of personality and Shimomura perfectly captured it.
