...not to barge in on this conversation, but yeah, Final Fantasy and Metroid are the two video game franchises that come to mind first when I think of the SNES.

There are some great battle themes in the other Mario RPGs, but the original Super Mario RPG is the only one where I can safely say I like 'em all.

I kept expecting Here's Some Weapons to start playing while listening to this. Yeah, I really liked that "A Journey in Music," and it would be awesome if you could do the same for other games, Supra.

I remember playing the shit out of this game back in grade school (I think 6th or 7th). Nothing else for like a month straight. This is the one tune from the game that would always end up stuck in my head.

Ohhh, come on Square(I know, "Enix"....), you're reconsidering Nintendo in your projects again, making the epic Dragon Quest X exclusively for Wii/Wii U, why dont you give a good handshake with Nintendo to develop Super Mario RPG 2 HD (Wii U)? PS: Lend some of your characters to SSBUniverse too XD

Stats update: Now with 6 songs, Super Mario RPG has passed every other Mario title on this list. Previously, it was tied with Mario Kart 64, Super Mario 64, and Super Mario World 2 with 5 songs a piece.

@SupraDarky It's stunning, yet very impressive how Secret of Mana, Super Mario RPG, Final Fantasy VI, and Chrono Trigger were all made by the same company. Speaking of which, i'v noticed that you've added "Tales of" game on here, but haven't added Tales of Phantasia on here.

A unique boss battle theme by Shimomura. She never really returned to this kind of sound unfortunately, but she's still making great soundtracks. I finish this game almost annually, it's definitely one of my favorites on the SNES.
