This will always remind me of staying in the Suite with no money, and working off my debt for the hotel. That was a pretty hilarious easter egg.

Link from Zelda was the actual easter egg.... He was sleeping in one of the beds in the hotel.

I went back to replay this recently and it is definitely good, but not all that ambitious. The story is very simplistic and the battles aren't very difficult. It is obviously intended for a young audience. If you did play it back then however, it likely holds a special place in your heart. I remember it being a really captivating experience overall, and I was also really impressed by the graphics.

Actually, KtoA was changed to E. They never had them both at the same time.

All of the original tracks were composed by Shimomura. Uematsu is credited in the soundtrack simply because of the Culex themes (which are originally from Final Fantasy IV). As for Kondo, he's automatically credited because of the various Mario themes that are remixed in this game (like the Super Pipe House theme).

Thanx SupraDarky for upload. This VG is my #1 Favorite. It's really the only game I've played more times (next to Mass Effect 1,2) in terms of replay value BTW Supra do you work for a VG Company? If so, you have anyway of maybe being "influential" in trying to get a remake for SMRPG say ...for the next gen handheld? or even the 3DS? be awesome if somehow this could happen. Maybe a petition? You have enough followers who enjoy the CLASSICS if so, please do and I'll be FIRST to Approve ~Ansem

YES! another SMRPG Entry. I approve (Krogan headbutt) :D I used to play this annually. I would get so damn good at it that I could beat it pretty much in one day (using Znes Emulator of course) One of the great memories of the Marrymore part, was the Inn Suite. Take a shower listening to Mario hum the Classic tune. And ranking up the bill where you don't have enough coins to pay off the outstanding fee...so what does SquareSOFT do?---make you work for the Hotel Inn LOL!!!

Not too long ago my local game store posted this on their Facebook having it in. I kid you not, I got down to their store and bought the game within 5 minutes of that posting. $60 well spent.

I liked that rating, although looking back it makes no sense seeing as it's for people 6+ and E for Everyone is 6+ so they had 2 6+ ratings. I think it was to help differentiate between games for families and kids and games that kids could play, but made mainly for adults(like RPGs).

One of the few games I can beat and immediately start back up to play it again. Love the story, characters, cameos, humor, fights, and of course, the music.

Heh, I'm playing through it right now. I'm a bit beyond the "end of the world" part, or wherever that place was. I was disappointed with how short it was also... But, yeah, it more than makes up for it with all it's secrets.

Music in this game always puts me in a good mood. One of the few RPGs where I pretty much always have a fun time, even outside the battles. This game is a bit shorter and easier than I'd prefer (except for a couple challenging boss fights), but it may also be part of the reason why I can replay it again and again.
