This song just doesn't go anywhere, for me. It needed a bit of oomph :).
I got pretty hooked on this game something fierce for quite awhile.
Matt Uelmen is the same composer who did the music for Diablo 2. You can clearly hear that, it's that good.

This is nice town music, but it also sounds like it would be the type of music playing after a big tragedy has happened. Great piece of music overall.
This has Tristam written all over it, which isn't a bad thing!

Well isn't that a coincidence! I got this game yesterday, and when I heard this song I immediately thought "What a great song! I think Supradarky should have this on his list" And what do you know! The next day he uploads it!

My comp can just barely handle this game, but I've played a good deal of it. Never played any Diablo games before though.

Honestly, I just considered Torchlight to be Diablo Lite.
Fuck Diablo 3. Torchlight 2 is where it's at.
The only thing I hate on torchlight is that it's way too big, if had MP, then maybe it would not be so big, but walking alone in a enormous dungeon is pretty boring.

I hadn't played this type of game since Diablo 2 many years ago (I played that game way too much). I really enjoyed it but it felt like a prototype for the much bigger game Torchlight 2 will be, thanks to the first game's success. Music by Matt Uelmen was half of the experience for me, it really felt like I was playing a Diablo game and I was feeling nostalgia while playing it for the first time. I'll miss his music in Diablo 3, but Torchlight 2 also promises to be awesome.
