@Zephryion Time is not unlimited, all I can say - I have taken my fair time drawing some of them and failed miserably somewhere in the halfway despite doing the seal otherwise just perfect. I haven't played neither of those two, but I know what they are about and I'd love to get my hand on one of them. I'm keeping an eye of a local game store's collection so if either one of them appears there second-hand I'm there to grab it in a swing of whip, so to speak. :P
@Zephryion Pretty funny, actually, I finished the normal game some months ago. Yes, practicing the seal drawing was the key to victory. I always seemed to take several tries to draw the seal in boss battles because I was a bit nervous but it never resulted as "game over" situation. Thank you for your cheering, though - I'll try to keep your words in mind next time I face trouble in video games. ;)

Interesting that you uploaded this. I've just gotten in to this great series and I'm planning on getting Dawn of Sorrow in a few days. I can't wait to play it.
I started this game a few weeks ago, but quit playing once I reached he clock tower area. No, it's not that I don't like challenging areas. Drawing seals is more bothersome, and the one I'm supposed to draw next seems so complex I'm likely to fail it a few times on boss fight. I had to draw that Subterranean Hell boss seal one more than once, as well. So, I started playing SotN instead. Certain familiar enemies have odd speed and tactics. Skeletons in particular - easy in DoS, annoying in SotN.
Ah...I had this game but unfortunately I dropped it somewhere and it was never found :(
Hey, i watched all your list (took me 3 hours) and i think missing some songs, especially from Aladdin. (Aladdin from Sega Genesis, not Snes). That game has a song that many believe is the best: Arab Rock. Greetings from Argentina, and your list is equally very great. (and sorry for my english!)

Fond memories of playing this one. I remember being wowed with the graphics and gameplay in Aria of Sorrow and then playing this one a few years later and freaking out over the difference.

I love Dawn of Sorrow. My first Castlevania, and favorite next to Super Castlevania IV.
@SupraDarky I hope so too. Harmony of Despair is certainly not one his better entries. I still can't wrap my head around that game. There's no story and no sense of coherency with any of the characters and stages. The only positives about that game are the new arrangements and art.

I hated Dawn of Sorrow because I absolutely adored Aria of Sorrow, I felt like Dawn was just a watered down version and blehhhhh. Underground Reservoir from Aria > than this song.

This is my favorite Metroidvania with SotN. I really liked the soul system, very addicting. I spent hours getting them all. Hopefully Konami still gets Iga to make handheld Castlevanias for the 3DS.
