Creepers don't look quite like that and the logo is different, but otherwise? That's a pretty accurate depiction of Minecraft, albeit early Minecraft. Probably Alpha, maybe very early Beta.

Tied to a post on top of the tree by a rope - post is out of frame. Pig walked off/fell off the top of the tree somehow. Now bouncing around like an idiot on a bungee cord and stuck under the tree, but above the ground. Rope no-clipping into the inside of the trees leaves. Very confusing photo, don't blame you.
At least this one actually deserves to have the word craft in it.

To be fair, in this game the "Craft" in the name actually makes sense, as opposed to, say, StarCraft.
Craft has different meanings, so: Nope, both make sense.

@WaddleDooProductions I'm not a very big fan of fps. I do play all of those that you mentioned, but what they lack is the creativity that you can put forth in minecraft. When I'm playing minecraft, I feel like I'm actually in my worlds just roaming around. I'm able to create my future as I see it in minecraft. I don't just follow some storyline that the creator gives me. I'm free to pick my own destiny.

I'm pleased to see that a Minecraft song made the cut. The game is amazing and has some very atmospheric and calming music to help ease the tensions of running into zombies and creepers. Nice pick, Supra :D.

I'm pretty sure that screen shot is from Garry's mod. because mobs don't bend and i have seen videos where there's minecraft stuff in Garry's mod.

I've seen other players play this, but never played it myself. Mostly cause I don't understand what the point of the game is. Could someone tell me?
@Blackbarticus yes get it now. if you bought alpha, you will own beta as well. you only need to buy minecraft ONCE, no matter which version.
1: the "creepers" in the pic are zombies modified with a creeper skin. 2: creepers drop one of (currently) two records. the green record plays this song and the gold record plays "18", which is crap. 3: you need a music box to play records. craft it like a chest with a diamond in the middle. 4: creepers will ONLY drop a record if the hit that kills them is made by a skeleton, not you.
@Sayeth0Di0Puppeth How to get some records. Recommend you get the Record since it doesn't drop Music box. There's a trick you need to do to make the record drop though, hehehe.

@AssasinKNR has a very good idea. :o I just found out about this a little while ago, 'cause a friend told me to try it. I liked the free version well enough (although that does get old after a while). Alpha has a whole ton of features that Classic doesn't, so I'm thinking of getting it around Christmas time. x3 I love the simple, block style of the terrain and the creatures, it's cute. x3 I was planning on being completely passive if/when I got it, but if creepers drop this awesome music box...

@alef321 it is a PC(its made in java) Purchase it at Minecraft net Those are just the games graphics, but you can change the textures if you wish

this is a good song. I spent some time trying to get one of the record, but getting a skelton to kill a creeper is HARD

@SupraDarky Creepers will only drop them if they're killed by skeletons. You make the record player by placing Diamond in the middle of the workbench, surrounded by planks.
I have yet to find a diamond so I can make a jukebox... but I've gotten CDs quite often.
Minecraft has nice music, but it plays so seldom that I usually just turn it off and have itunes playing in the background.
i've never understood this game
Minecraft's playerbase is quickly growing. I don't have time to try it but people told me it's a very addictive game. I find this particular song relaxing, it's from a music box monsters called "creepers" drop, that green thing behind the tree in the screenshot.
