Though I only got Minecraft officially for the first time in 2016, this already brings back memories. Exploring my vast main world, finding new biomes and structures, barely escaping enemies with half a heart, all with peaceful music playing in the background. Love this game.

I think we can all agree that Minecraft's golden ages were from 2009 to 2011ish (which was the first alpha release to about version 1.2) It was something special in those years. Nowadays it's all just mass produced mini games, YouTube videos and internet trolling. I miss the days when Minecraft was just about building and screwing around with some friends. It feels tainted now...
well... the new combat's pretty good.
If you really don't like MC that much, ignore it. But if you want to see people building and screwing around with friends in modern-day Minecraft, try Achievement Hunter or Stampylonghead's Minecraft series.

I thought it's simply supposed to be Redstone. It looks admittedly less like dust and more like gems. But then again there's no redstone IRL, so it might be artistic freedom to depict a halfway mined ore block with the exposed minerals like that :D

It was only released on November 18, 2011 for the PC and May 9th of this year for the 360. You must've had a short childhood.

That's exactly how I felt.. Very alone, but somehow it was okay. I think this was due in part to the zen experience of the game and the comforting soundtrack. Pretty powerful stuff.

This song reminds me of a perfect night of everyone doing what they want to do. Smoke, drink, coke, xtc, acid, and we all leave at 7am and we all releasing after a whole night of getting f'd up that there's a real world. After a great night of our own world.......

minecraft is good for many reasons, the best is that u can either survive alone battling the forces of mobs such as creepers or endermen, creative is good but i would prefer survival, who likes what, reply to this comment saying wht gamemode you like better, 0 (survival) or 1 (creative)

@istemann lol you simply cannot have a discussion in a comments section of youtube without somebody thinking it is not belonging, I am simply relating the comment to the video and proving how it does not make sense. Thus I am commenting my own feelings towards the video indirectly but I guess by saying "Calm down" you understand psychology considering I must be angry or upset.

@GenBadGuy That may be but how would you interpret your own childhood as a general concept how would you know when it began or ended, the amount of ignorance you'd have as a child wouldn't allow you to make the distinction between adulthood and childhood hence why I didn't understand his/her comment. How can you be a child yet say something ruined your childhood, you contradict your own sentence which is a mindfuck in a way
