This game was good, the only downside is the airship battles were annoying, and the regular battles were waaaaay too easy.
This game was kick ass! Another one of those not very well known titles that I am so happy to have played. It's like my own little secret =P

@lrjtmntfan Though you don't get to Tokyo until quite late in the game. I'm level 21-22, done almost half the game (I think) and haven't reached Tokyo. In fact, the farthest city I've been to is Dehli, which isn't all that far from London (Where you start)

@SupraDarky I'll second your recommendation, because this was, by far, one of the best RPGs on the DS. And I've played the majority of RPGs on all platforms. I lied Nostalgia more than I did FFIII and FFIV for the DS.

hmmm I just might take your word on that and get the game...because I did see it at gamestop last week but didn't get the nerve to pick it up. I love rpgs and if this game is set in such a setting...it would be great to see something like that...I'll check it out though, thanks for the tip.
You should totally post the music from the last dungeon. That was a great tune.
You really should play it. It's great, there's a lot to do, and you can tell that a lot of love went into it.
It's like... Early 1900's Tokyo.
It's a traditional RPG for the DS that takes place in the a version of the world that we live in as opposed to a fantasy setting. So while there may be airships and monsters, you'll be visiting places like New York and Tokyo. It's a really great game. If you like RPGs I would definitely recommend it.
I just beat this game last night! It's so great! There's so much to do! The music really needs to be listened to with headphones. I started noticing instruments I didn't even know were there.

Glad you put music from this game. This is a new game(at least for America) so I didn't knew that you are going to put it so fast, but it is great.
Reminds me of a faster version of Wutai sort of, but still definately retains its own vibe =]
I like the beat. Definitely makes it stand above a generic town theme, which the melody sounds a lot like.

I immediately thought Okami too! Loved that games music. I'd almost buy this game for the music but it's not released in Europe it seems...
Yeah exactly, though some of the bosses near the end + post-ending could pack quite a punch. And funny you mention Okami since Rei Kondo composed for it.
Overdrive + Combo Attack makes the game way too easy. Pretty good track though. Reminds me of Okami.

I definitely recommend this game for anyone who wants their RPG fix on their DS. It has some problems (cliché story, overpowered skills etc.) but it ends up being a very addictive game for a reason I can't quite explain.
