I still consider Soul Blade the best of the series. The Calibur games are great, but Blade's superb soundtrack and better focus on each character's arsenal of weapons made it god tier to me. Also, Hwang. Hwang > Mitsurugi. Much Hwang love.
I agree the Soundtrack is the best of the series, and It has A Siegfried moveset we'll never see again. Also Rock was a good character here.

If they had this song for the new Soul Calibur my jaw would drop. What happened to the music quality? Each to their own and I guess the new direction of gaming has changed. This intro remains one of the best I think.

You got to know your roots. Before Soul Calibur, there was Soul Edge/Blade. This blew Tekken out of the water in terms of graphics back in the day.
