that's how i used to play when i didnt have my ps1 that could run it. If i may suggest, try lookin up some of the ps1 controllers that are usb connected runs for goes for bout 10-15 bucks more for the quality ones if you want em. for the vinegar part, turn your speakers up i realized that you its better to listen for water and the rope youll know what im sayinn if you try it. i remember doin that in bof4 haha also reminds me of the hide and seek or when you gotta turn your camera to find things
I recently downloaded the rom, and played util the vinegar well part and couldnt do it after countless tries and had to abandon hope. Also in bof4 where you have to chase the animal around in the forest and not fall in the holes. Keyboards suck for such.
that wasn't a problem for me as much as the part where you have to put the flame chrysm into the hatch and you gotta wait till it hit the line or somn. but man it was all part of the charm for me

@jricket I agree. The music was one of the many reasons why I loved to play this game so much. It is in my humble opinion one of the most perfect JRPGs ever made. I sometimes find myself humming along with the music when I decide to play through it again.
great song and great OST. I never understood why people complained about BOF3's music. They say it is a medieval themed RPG (which is wrong, it's sci-fi) with this weird jazz fusion music which is 'wrong'. And how is the usual classical/rock/jpop inspired music for most RPGs 'right'? If historical musical accuracy was important, the OST for these games would consist of monks chanting unison melodies with no rhythm or harmony.
