wish my computer didnt break down because the emulator of this game was fantastic...did it or should i say was it better than secret of mana 1 in your opinion SupraDarky? or anyone who has played both of these gems?...

The part from 1:52-2:16 is definitely my favorite, especially the 'repeat' at 2:04-2:16. For whatever reason, it always seemed as though that 'repeat' played only every other time the line was heard (i.e. the whole track was 4 minutes long instead of 2), until I verified that I was wrong. But it still gives that feeling: "Hey, you've been out in the snow field for a long time now!" I think the slow, quiet, ponderous style is what creates the effect.
The only thing this music lacks is a high def update. Now, don't we have an amazing Canadian remixer somewhere in this parts..? ;)
@SupraDarky He went and later wrote the music to Soukaigi, which was godlike, even if the game was not.

It's amazing how good the music from this game has always sounded, even from just the SNES' limited capability. Very full and beautiful. Seiken Densetsu 3 is in my opinion the greatest SNES game ever made.

If this is Secret of Mana II, why is there a "3" in the title above?
The original title is Seiken Densetsu 3. It was a Japan exclusive Squaresoft Action JRPG, and one of the best in Super Famicom console series. It was never meant to be released to US. Because Secret of Mana is Seiken Densetsu 2 in JP, hence the unofficial name Secret Of Mana II.
I'm going to have to direct you to koudelka's OST. Sure its not nearly as memorable as his secret of mana OSTs, but at least you can recognize his style. watch?v=pd0g9JsIEh0

I absolutely love the soundtrack to SD3, although I wouldn't say this particular song is among my favourite from the game...but it's still damn good, though. I hope to see many more SD3 tracks in your series in the future!

Like HeavensMeat said. people shouldn't rate someone down (thumb down) just cause they said they didn't like the song. Mallowigi didn't say anything bad, or rude. Simply his/her opinion. on that note, I too can't say that this song really stands out for me. I am sure there are others in the game that might hold more value to me. Still a really cool game though.
