You know it actually sounds like Alucard's sword when you execute it's special move, but with only one swipe and slowed down....
Is it just me or faint in the background are there dog bight/barking noises, or like a raspy cough? You can hear it really distinct around 2:08 . Man this was one of my all time favorite tracks and I used to just sit in the game and draw or do homework or what ever while this song jamed out and I NEVER heard that before...weird.
This may sound crazy but at about 3/4 of the song it reminds me of the song that played in the end of Kill Bill Vol 1.

Castlevania SOTN is one of my favorite OST that I've ever heard. It's in my top 5 OST (VGM) list.

Man, SotN was just filled with awesome music. Regardless of which one you picked it would have been great. Good choice though, this one doesn't get as much credit as others.
