I can't recall when i first heard or saw Ace Attorney but i played the third game on a 300-in-1 games DS cart and thought it was very impressive so i just went ahead and bought the Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney collection on the Switch. Utterly blown away. What a masterpiece of a game series. Still haven't beat it, just started Justice For All, beat the first game after like 30 hours of playing. Beyond amazing. Wish i heard of it earlier. Been a long time since i felt quite like i did when this music played at the end of the episode and it showed the picture of Maya and Phoenix shaking hands with Mia in the background. Won't forget it for a long while. Gumshoe's my fav character tho.
A shame i missed this fine piece of video game history. I guess it's time to get a rom of this.

Every night on my bed I put on my headphones and just let Phoenix Wright get into my head and forget about the world around me. The story is so well done, the characters make you really care for them. One of my favorites games.

I found the same thing happening to me with a huge part of the Persona 4 music, and even this piece. That's when you know something is dear to you. When it creates these kinds of emotions inside of you when you recall it.

It's strange; when I first played the game, I was not too hot on this tune. I mean, it was nice and all, but not exactly my favourite. But hearing it here again, it brings back so many wonderful memories. I should play this game again...

@TheRealVordox Thats easy to explain. I fail with logic. That's all. I also had horrible logic untill 2 days ago when I realised that my logic made no sense 90% of the time. Now its kinda 89% of the time.

I HATED THIS CASE SO MUCH. Well, it was awesome. BUT SO HARD. I needed to save 6 times. For the investigation. The court part is also hardcore. But this case is still awesome.
@Marciejjj I actually played Justice for All first, and even despite that I still think the first game has the best music... JFA's search and cross-examination themes are solid, though.
Always reminds me of the start of the investigation: examining things in Phoenix's office, seeing what he had to say about Charlie, asking Maya 'what to do' and 'any ideas'... memories
I think the 3rd one has the best music, so there. Although that's just considering the courtroom themes. So of the other themes, like this one and Gumshoe's theme, are just as good, although I tend to remember them less because they occur in the investigation parts, where I can zone out sometimes.

I agree, too. But I really liked Trials and Tribulations soundtrack, too. It's almost the same level as PW1's. Buuut, PW1 soundtrack is way too epic. Considering the circustances, i mean. PW1 was the first... ok, I think you already got it.
Agreed. The first in the series has the best music, to me at least. I play the others and wish the first's music would spring up in its originality.

I don't know why, but I like this version better than the version in JFA and T&T. I think it's the whole instrument change.
The game would be just "ehh..." if it was a realistic court simulator. But it's not. The characters are the main highlight of the game and the sort of cases that you have to solve have so many ridiculous twists and turns (that STILL end up up being logical). The games are a lot of fun, give them a try.
Most game stores carry the whole series. The characters are really what make this game. And of course the epic of OBJECTION!!!

Have you actually PLAYED the game? It's extremely fun, and one of my favorite games of all time. You should get a copy if you can find one, or the next Apollo Justice game, when it arrives.

PW1 had such a good soundtrack, I just didn't get into it as much when I played the later installments. Great song, loving your list!
Phoenix Wright music is particularly great. People always ask me, "Holden! Why do you care to have the music on for a read-along video game with no dubbing?" and I say, "Because the music makes the experience!" Okay no one asks me that, but I'd totally tell 'em that. Courtroom music is particularly emotional - especially when you're shouting OBJECTION! at your DS.

How can you like the JFA cornered? I feel it falls short compared to T&T and AAs versions. But JFA did have some very unique tunes in it and some did sound cool

The music in most of the Phoenix Wright games is stellar(2' was just ok IMHO, still decent though). I'm hoping that the music "Cornered" from the first game makes the cut at some point. That music was so spot on for the situation.
Uh... Apollo Justice. But of the Phoenix arc, yeah... but then again, Trials and Tribulations was a brilliant way to end the series.
