Charming and creepy
I realized that this is the last zelda game i played through (aside from the nes games which i play through every year) and its 9 years old.....wow.

I got so stuck in this dungeon and this song really gave me a headache. In short bursts though, there's something so nice about it :s.
This brings back a memory from when I was 9 or 10 I think... It wasn't a special memory, I just remember it being a sunny Sunday, my parents were asleep, and I was the only one awake, just playing this game in the morning.
Did you know that town was inspired of a picture of M.C. Escher? That was a creepy place! With creepy music... and these creepy birds wahh....

By far the best dungeon theme in the franchise for me.
Is this the new skyloft? I mean after all these years people living there "evolved" to the Oocca due the climatic enviroment (just sky lol). The game explains that the Oocca created the Hylian race and by watching the events from skyward sword... looks like the puzzle is solving itself...

Even though I got this a finished it on gamecube first. I bought it again for Wii and played through it twice. One of my favorite zeldas.
man this soundtrack is masterful and if skyward sword didnt exist it would be the best soundtrack to a zelda game!! theres no fuggin with skyward sword lol best game of all time
...I thought the whole point of TP was to have a darker tone than previous games in the series. Mission undeniably accomplished though. Oh I see where you're coming from, this does remind me a little of the "Last Day" theme from Majora's Mask. Where Metroid Prime came in, I have no idea, although a lot of Twilight Princess does remind me of Metroid Prime anyway.

@xade76 odly enough I've never played any of the previous Bioshocks... so no, aside from the amazing setting, I'm not interested in Bioshock Infinite

This belongs in Metroid Prime or Majora's mask, it's a tad creepy even for TP.
I get scared to death every time an Ooccoo voice pops in.
This dungeon was hard until i got the double clawshot. Then I wished I had a double clawshot in real life.
Not the same without those annoying Oocoos.
One of my favorite dungeons. Ever since I was a kid, I had a fascination with cities in the skies. Yes, this makes Myazaki's Castle in the Sky one of my favorites

Forest Temple Lite.
I love Twilight Princess. This dungeon was awesome, and so is the music. It's almost creepy in a way.
SEE! This game does have memorable music. I really liked it for what it brought to the table and they can just master the gameplay for Skyward Sword.
i always thought that voice chattering parts at like :23 were the ooccoo. haha good times.
This song is really pretty, and I love the beautiful ambience of it. But let's face it, Oocca give me nightmares and I will never rationally accept it.

@KeeSomething I haven't played the game but I actually thought this sounded different enough that I checked what song was playing; it may give you a headache but it definitely has a different feel from a lot of songs :P

I can understand why people hate this song in the game: there's not really a whole lot to it. It's maybe a 1:15 loop or so, which is great in a casual iphone game, perhaps, but not in a long dungeon where you're being forced to listen to the same short loop over and over again. On top of that, I think it also has to do with the fact that the main melody is so high pitched. I personally like this song a lot in small doses because of its eerie nature. But again, I understand why people hate it.
It took me a couple of days to beat the dungeon, but this song got stuck in my mind for a long time. It's a good theme, but, whenever I hear it, I remember the headache....
I never got this far. It was around this part of the game where I finally gave up. I lent Twilight Princess to a friend of mine, and haven't regretted the decision at all >.>
it really sounds like the forest temple in ocarina of time (--> watch?v=lb88VsHVDbw) actually, i'm of the opinion that the older dungeon soundtracks are better. simply because they are longer and doesn't loop so fast.

I really didn't have a problem with TP...i guess its not as revolutionary but the style is....and this music is soo good..really enjoyed this dungeon too.
Those bird people are probably some of the creepiest things I've ever seen in a video game. THOSE EYES!

I actually liked the dungeon music, cause all of them had an nice ground music plus some weird noices. Lakebed Temple could get you crazy with it's soundtrack

Hey this reminds me of OoT's Forest Temple music.
I thought this dungeon was a pain the ass, but in all I liked it... It's kind of surreal, seeing such a dungeon but knowing that it's home to the Oocca, you know? When I hear this song I'm suddenly taken back to the big main chamber with all the little Oocca sitting around, where you can pick them up and glide along with them as if they were Cucco or something.... It's actually just so neat.... The part where we were really high in the air makes me dizzy thinking about it though. :P

Sidious66, I sort of half way agree with you. I LOVED this track when I first heard it because it was creepy, yet relaxing. But...I think it was a bad idea for the composer to make the song's loop so short considering you had to hear the song throughout an entire level. Still, I do enjoy hearing this one from time to time.

not a chance, the forest temple theme on oot is the best temple theme on a zelda game
The dual hookshot was one of the few items that was actually neccessary for future levels beyond the temple you find it in. I remember I got stuck at the last temple because of the torch you had to put out with the boomerang, but since I hadn't used it since the first temple it took me forever to figure out. I think I onlt died twice in the game. The first time I drowned on perpose to see what happens and the second was against Zelda because reflecting fire balls with the wii control suck
I LOVED the spinner. It's nice to see the Zelda team keep coming up with neat items. The first half of that boss fight was pure gold. The sky temple ended up being kinda annoying. Although I personally find the dual hookshot's to be my favorite item(s) in the zelda game series. It has this feel to it. Zero, I find it impossible to believe that you can't find ONE game less enjoyable than TP. You mean you would rather play Superman 64 or Dr. Jeckle and Mr. Hyde than Zelda TP?
My least favorites were Temple of Time in TP which was really freaking linear and the Sky Temple. Sure dual grappling hooks are cool, but the build up for the Sky Temple was so overwhelming for me that there was no way it would meet my expectations. It didn't even have Ritos! I was so pumped to see them with the new graphics, but Instead I was greated to retarded chickens WTH. The Spinner in the Desert level was awesome though. to bad it is never used after except for a few moments at the end
The original zelda is one of my favorites. I have to agree with Zero on this. TP shouldn't even be compared to other Zelda games. If you look at it as a stand alone adventure game it's pretty good I suppose.
Twilight Princess isn't my favorite Zelda game either. I might have liked it more if I played it before I played Okami and Alundra but I played it after. Those two games are on equal footing with and in some respects even surpass the best games of the Zelda series. I actually think most of my personal disappointment came from that reason.
MM is actually my favorite tied with the original. I have no Idea why you liked TP or why anyone does. It's the single most disappointing game I've ever played. I'd rather play pretty much any game over it honestly.
ehh.... TP was not the worst in the series... its MUCH better than the NES original and the game boy ones. TP is a great game, but it just doesn't match OoT. I personally liked it better than MM, but that doesn't mean it's a better game.

agreed you can't even compare MMs Levels to TPs. IMO TP was the worse in the series* *For those of you who put the CDI games in that category I must apologize as I have not yet played them though we at least know that they are much much more humorous then TP
TP's dungeons were lacking when compared to OoT :( But the music was outstanding like always. This is certainly a game to remember
well, it wasn't THAT bad. The whole "finding something at the beginning of a dungeon but not using it till the very end" is used quite a bit in Zelda. A worse dungeon in my opinion is the Temple of Time, for the exact opposite reason. It was so freakin easy. Took me 25-30 minutes to beat. But anyway, this song is great, provides a perfect ambience for the level.
This level was hard for me. I liked the level as it had a good challenge to it. When looking for that final swith I was like "OMG where is it!?" But I enjoyed the boss the most
I agree with the horribly flawed level design, however I liked the idea of having a goal "so close, yet so far away". I do not agree on the point of (if you are) holding the switch being seen but not accessible early on, as part of the reason why the level wasn't a good one.

I love this tune. One of my favourites from the game. It has such a haunting atmosphere to it that presents both the sky & dungeon aspect well. I loved the dungeon itself as well. So fun. I gotta play this game again.

I feel ya. But see, this is one of those pieces that evokes a certain atmosphere, not one which you listen to and appreciate in the same way as traditional tonal music with typical arangement of rhythm, melody and harmony. But just for breaking the mold, I give this 5 stars :)
Awesomely creepy. The game was so so. Never had gave me a reason to play it again. Unlike, Link to the Past and Link's Awakening lol.
I love this "music". So awesome. Didn't like TP all that much though... I enjoyed it the first time playing through, but that was it. tWW will always be superior.

The Ice dungeon was my fave in the game, but the best boss battle was against Stallord.
This song always freaked the shit out of me o.o A lot of this stage including the Oocoo seemed to have some artistic base on M.C. Escher
It's alright! I'm pretty sure it's impossible for a song to be liked by everyone. :P For me, this ambient piece stood out when I listened to the OST again simply because I associate it with the dungeon, which, unlike many people, I think was the high point of the game!
