@SupraDarky - Man, thinks for uploading all of your videos, some make me go way back. On a crappy day, I just put one from the snes or n64 playing and I feel calm ( like yeats said, "caressed by the bossom of untapped memory". Kudos XD

@Phebie923 What actually happened was that Nintendo didn't want to release the official "more of the same" - Mario Bros. sequel to Western audiences because it was deemed too difficult. So Nintendo took another game called "Doki Doki Panic" (that was deemed unmarketable outside Japan because it featured a cast of characters from a series of Japanese noodle commercials unfamiliar in Western territories), and replaced the characters with Mario and crew.

To be honest, I sort of loathe this game. Even when I didn't know it, I knew it wasn't really a Mario game, and I guess I despised it for trying to be something it's not. Still, it had great tunes, I'll give it that.
Not the best of the Mario games, but still a great song. I also love some of the piano versions here on youtube.

although I have to say this was just as good as all the other marios, whereas I found zelda II to be...pretty awful.

Naw it was a good game! It was different yes, but still very entertaining in my eyes! You hear this theme, you know this is SMB2 (In the US). Good choice SupraD!
