This song may not have lyrics, but it tells the story of every explorer to ever explore the world. Christopher columbus, Captain Cook...This song reminds me of those that are the reason many people exist today.

This game only downside is that there isn't any good music playing at night when you're sailing at sea. Going from this (which is one of the best out of all video game music tracks in my opinion) at day to nothing at all at night is just horrible. Fix some amazing night sailing music in Wind Waker WiiU Nintendo! :D

Wind waker was a great game. One of my favorites along with Windfall island & grandmas sad theme

I never was a fan of Zelda games. I liked playing one of the GBA games, and I had played the original, but when OOT came, I didn't like it. I tried Twilight Princess and I just didn't get interested. When I got Phantom Hourglass as a gift, I loved it. After hearing of Wind Waker, I went and got it. AMAZING!!! I could not put the attachment to the game into words. Maybe i'm one for the cel shaded graphics, who knows? I do like Okami.

Sailing was never the problem for me. It was the, "you missed the spot by like 5 inches," kind of thing. Like you drift too far that the slow movement isn't worth the time and you have to constantly change the wind direction just to get the treasure spot. And if you miss again... DUDE. Otherwise, everything else about this game was alright.
i never really liked sailing in Phantom Hourglass it was just boring to me but i LOVED sailing in Wind Waker cus of this song :D
Some say that sailing in this game gets boring, but I disagree. Sailing with this epic music is one of my favorite thing in the game.

Everyone always complains about the sailing in this game and how it took forever to get anywhere. But setting a course and jamming across the waves ahead of the wind was my favorite part of the game.
I want a sailboat. Link makes it look so easy.

I had lost faith in Zelda, and I didn't really care about Skyward Sword anymore. I listened to this song. 5 seconds later, I ran out and preordered the damn game!
I loved the sailing. Made you feel like an adventurer on the big sea plus it was wide open whereas all other zelda overworlds are boxed in with mountains or hills. I still remember that part when the world is stormy and you have to go back to Windfall island and get the bombs. I was sitting on the sofa all wrapped up and looking outside to see it was also raining. So awesome.
I must say I didn't care too much for this song. I hated sailing in this game, so BORING! Thumbs up if you cried as much as I did during the final fetch quest? That being said, all other songs, and aspects of this game, were nothing short of amazing

@MulinaTheAngelWolf Ok, phantom hourglass was a pretty decent game on its own. I actually kind of liked PH, and beat it with 3 hearts and everything, but it just didn't have that spark to it that wind waker had.

Honestly, though, I kind of liked the sailing, It made it feel like a more open game than the others. I wish they'd make a GOOD wind waker 2. PH sucked.

Loved the art style. It's also akin to sprites, the graphics are timeless and will never go out of date like the graphics in OoT or Majora's Mask or any game at the time. Cel shaded graphics won't ever be out of date because it's style over technical prowess. Likewise with sprite based games like the old Mario games or Metroid.

I forgot how much i love this theme, makes sailing epic. Even tough the sailing times where damn long, this song made it more enjoyable. This makes you want to play Wind Waker Again, but with a totally different history, like a mod or something. I have phantom hourglass but personally i didn't like it that much (I know it's a good game, but i prefer wind waker)

loved the way this actualy had an amazing story! about six dungeons and tons of mini games,, especially that last part is what makes me love it so much, there's so much to do and explore!

I must be missing something Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin Sonic Rush Sonic Rush Adventure Final Fantasy III Final Fantasy IV Civilization Revolution Phoenix Wright etc. -shrug- I guess I was wrong when I thought those were some of the best selling DS games...

OoT had a special orchestra CD (search about Hyrule Symphony) but the music ingame was played by a computer. Even the orchestra version of Kakariko was just a virtual orchestra. (I own the European Soundtracks of Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask and I can't see a hint about a real orchestra. All you can read is "Written & Composed by Koji Kondo")
As fas as I know the TWW soundtrack is completely done on computer.

Ahh... For some reason, I always like being at sea. You sail waters, not knowing what'll happen, yet facing anything that comes your way.
I love this music so much, and it fit the ocean perfectly. I only wish that the islands in the game weren't all cut and paste of eachother. >_>
This song is soothing enough that it always used to make my wife fall asleep if I was playing Zelda. She would actually suggest that I play GameCube so that she could take a nap.

This is my favorite rendition of the Zelda main theme, also my favorite overworld music from any Zelda title. It actually made sailing those tremendous distances bearable, which is saying something.

This game is my favorite Zelda because of the art style and because of how satisfying the combat was.
If you started playing from like, the first ones, you get used to how most of the puzzles work, so it ends up getting easier and easier with each new Zelda game. =P

Nintendo will never release any Philips CD-I crap on the VC!!!!! There will be no Hotel Mario and the 3 horrible Zelda titles! That is a rumor and it needs to die!!!
Oh, and my favourite Zelda is A Link to the Past. The puzzles just got too easy after that.
My only real beef in this game were a couple of the music choices. Xylophones? In a dramatic battle? Shoot me now. Other than that, it was nice to see a Link that actually new swordsmanship (swashbuckling, not fencing) and it quite a few good music scores to make up for the abysmal. Go Molgera!
hourglass well you cant expect much on the d.s there are very few good games on that system only megaman zx and pokemon exceled on the d.s majora's mask was very very different from other zelda games it was much more dark but still i'd say it was good
