It's nice to see both Breath of Fire games on the SNES VC for Switch now. Since they're the only 2 RPGs on the service for now, I'm hoping it brings more people to this series so that someday, hopefully, we get a true sequel (I refuse to acknowledge BoF 6). Breath of Fire II is actually my favorite in the series.

Yes. Breath of Fire 2 had an amazing villain, and brought up religion as a bad thing without being overly offensive about it.

@Castle Vanity Dragon Quarter had amazing atmosphere, but I actually prefered the more traditonal jRPG style of the previous games. I still love it though.

@Castle Vanity I know alot of people didn't like Dragon Quarter, but like SupraDarky stated earlier, it really did have a amazing atmosphere, and I also really liked the combat.

This sounds like a GBA Fire Emblem song, makes sense since they both feature dragons :D

Personally i prefer BOF 4. But i love all the games in the series otherwise. Except for 6.

Bad Box Art Megaman was pretty cool but Bad Box Art Ryu is where it's at

Hopefully EarthBound comes to SNES Online soon. I am dead serious when I say I have three ways of playing already (SNES cartridge, 3DS Virtual Console, SNES Classic) and want a fourth.

Great song. I played Breath Of Fire 2 back in the early days of the Wii VC and even had a copy of the GBA port before it broke. Currently replaying it again with the aim of finally beating it.

I’ve heard good things about this game for a while and I’m excited to try it out once it hits the Switch. Who doesn’t love an RPG with DRAGONS in it?

The best part of BoF was saving up your MP until the boss, then spamming the dragon skills on the poor sod. Never got old :-D.
