I haven't played most of the games Alberto Gonzalez composed for and this is no exception. I did play the NES version of Asterix which I thought was absolutely fine, so I'm guessing it might be the same on the GB. He's truly gifted when it comes to creating music that immediately grabs you with its beats and melodies. Always catchy.
My absolute favorite ost from him are the GB Turok games, check them out golden!

This has to be the same composer than Bugs Bunny Martian Alert for GB. It sounds really similar.

Yes, he's great!! My favourite soundtrack of his so far is Lucky Luke for GBC. I'm working on doing piano covers of every single theme in the soundtrack. :) I haven't played this specific Asterix game yet, and hadn't heard this theme before! It's great.

Man I remember this game! Never owned it personally but a cousin of mine had it back in the day as a part of some sort of pack with a bunch of other games. You tend to remember the weirdest things but I'm glad I remembered that little random fact about my past lol.

I bet this composer also made the soundtrack for Gameboy Smurfs and other Infogrames titles. I really like how those games sound on the GB!
