I was really sad I never got to finish this game because it kept freezing mid-point through the story, back when I had it on ps1. Never stumbled upon another copy :(

I would play the absolute shit out of that game.
Favorite Game to date. Nothing has been able to replace this game as my favorite. I am sad that they went against making this bigger. I still replay it form time to time. I've had the game since the age i first started learning how to read. I remember when a guard called out "BASTARD" and I sounded it out and my mom was like "thats a bad word" haha. But yes my favorite game. I've replayed it so many times i can type out almost every detail of the whole story and its still not old to me

My 2nd RPG ever right after Final Fantasy IX which I rented the same night. That was a good weekend.
I can believe Sony hasn't continued the series. Legend of Dragoon was a terrible game, and I've played like two dozen RPGs better than it on the Playstation alone. Nothing wrong with the game's music, though. It has some good tracks.
+Adam Epp It's nice to see that someone shares the sentiment. It's definitely not a badly made game, but as far as everything else it was just barely average. The battle and boss themes are incredibly repetitive, the story doesn't pick up until much later, and the battles usually just drag on dragoon (hahahah... ah...). It's just... eh.
+DracXBelmont : I remember when the game came out. It was during the time when a classic RPG was released for the Playstation nearly every month. There was a reason this game never caught on; compared to what came out in the same era, Legend of Dragoon sucks, plain and simple.
+Adam Epp I had some damn good 7-8/10 fun with it, but okay, more objectively, its a 6-7/10 tops. Which is actually how it often got rated at the time.
I almost beat this game, then gave up after the virage whats-it. Seems like it would be worth replaying, as the epic scale of the journey/story and all the diverse locales were the best parts of it. I actually felt like I was being immersed in the game, as opposed to the Final Fantasy titles of that generation (aside from IX, which was great).

Yeah, definitely worth the replay. Just haven't felt like playing many games lately. I honestly want to beat Soul Nomad first. Nippon Icchi RPGs are the best.

Is this your favorite game SupraDarky? Everytime I go through this game and beat it I'm like, 'that's enough LOD for me. I finally walked everywhere you can walk with Dart, fought every enemy, got all the spells.' then as the months peel off, I load my big save and run around squashing foes and I'm like 'Man, it would be fun to start over' LOL wtf am I thinking.

I remember this theme playing during the first cutscene as the village is burning down... Not very fitting now that I think about it, but it's easily one of my favorites in the game. I still can't believe Sony hasn't expanded on this franchise, it has all the ingredients to be successful and this game proved it.
+SupraDarky Personally, I still prefer the game to end as it did. A remake would be great though. The graphic is still outstanding till today.

Thinking about making a sequel, I still believe it's not a good idea unless it's a sequel after 10.000 years.
