didnt get to this soundtrack yet, the gameplay is so boring and the music so shitty that i couldnt get myself to play past world 3.
You are joking right? Or, you're probably confusing this game with Yoshi's New Island.
we had to force us to play to world 3 tbh. the soundtrack could be played in any cheap elevator, challenge not to be found anywhere and the secrets are hidden in the dumbest way possible. srsly, if you know games like the DK-series or even some of the Mario Bros.-Titles, this game is just a disappointment on every level, except the graphics. but well... graphics only got us to world 3 or so.
AdlerSchwadron 1: You could only play through World 3? You're only halfway. 2: The soundtrack is amazing, what are you comparing it to? 3: The game gets MUCH harder once you reach World 5. 4: The secrets are cleverly hidden. Are you saying that because you couldn't find them? 5: This game isn't for you.
I would never guess this came from a Yoshi game if I didn't see the title.

As always, SupraDarky has incredible taste in the music of the games that come out. This.. I wouldn't believe this is from a 'Yoshi' game. I say 'Yoshi' simply because of what SD pointed out. Lullaby-like or happy is the majority of the game's(near all or most in this vein) soundtracks. I like this. So incredibly soothing and yet that feeling of something must be done.
This song is so good, as the rest of this game's soundtrack. If you have not heard it already, you should give special course theme a go! :)

This game's soundtrack is much better than I anticipated, I thought it would suffer from being strictly made of lullaby-like, happy and safe themes, but it's actually quite varied in both instrumentation and mood. This theme really makes me think of almost reaching the end, not knowing how it will all go, but pushing anyways. Thumbs up for that! Of course, the visual presentation is also very nice. However, I'm sad that the games in this series have been mostly relegated to "Looks pretty nice, I'll try it someday when it's not too expensive" in my mind, after Yoshi's Island being one my favorite games ever.

+SupraDarky I love it when songs like this and "Untamed Heart" (from Klonoa) create that sort of determined ambiance. The recent Yoshi games have seemed lackluster, so I'm excited to hear that this one may have recaptured that old magic.
