I'm always pleasantly surprised when an Alundra song pops up for some reason. One of my favourite games ever :).
I was proud of my fortitude in clearing this game sans-guide. This dungeon was torturous for poor ole' me. Awesome atmosphere, and an even better plot. Thank you Working Designs. They also gave us the wonderful Lunar with that great translation job.

Love that game. One of the most interesting Zelda clones, in my opinion. The story is surprisingly bleak and the music/pixel art/gameplay come together to form something really special. My only issue with it has always been the puzzles, as some of them pretty much require a guide (or ample patience) to get through.
By far my favourite soundtrack from Kohei Tanaka :) Kline's Dream, Ra's Underground Hideout...
A think Alundra vgm 43 was one of the first songs on the list I came across... been almost 8 years already.

@Sephiko It really is something when you go back at some of the older vids on his list and read SupraDarky's comments. His comments are much more mature now, and I think similar things can be said for many of us.
I've heard that this game is difficult. Is that true? Good track btw.
@GoRedskinsAndWizards I remember the puzzles giving me trouble when I was younger but after replaying it recently they weren't nearly as hard as I found them previously,still harder than most "puzzles" found in modern titles. Bosses will smack the hell out of you sometimes that's the truth
@GoRedskinsAndWizards I'd say it's harder than any Zelda game out there... except for the fact you can get the strongest weapon extremely early in the game if you wanted to, doesn't require any skill to get it either. It kinda spoils the difficulty.

This is one of my favorite games on the PS1 and easily one of my favorite "Zelda clones". Great atmosphere and puzzles with a quite unique soundtrack. It took me until 2 years ago to finally give Alundra 2 a shot and I actually found myself really enjoying it as well on its own. As a sequel to this game though, I can understand how most people were disappointed. I'd love to get a new Alundra, but that's probably not happening.
@SupraDarky It's a gem, but I don't think it needs a sequel. Wouldn't mind the same team getting the chance to make another game, but Alundra is beautiful all on its own. As long as it keeps being accessible to future generations, we're good.

Alundra é um dos poucos games "Zelda clones" que realmente estão à altura de Zelda, seja pelo gameplay ou pela trilha sonora magnifica. Pô, ouvindo essa trilha outra vez bateu o sentimento nostalgico de jogar dinovo. XD
@SupraDarky Alundra was an awesome experience on every level. This game was not made for making you happy because on every step, something happens which makes you sad. Even for todays standards, it was a brutal what happens ingame :/. As for Alundra 2, it was different. It felt like an ordinary adventure. It was fun, sure. But somehow I was dissapointed
