I loved this game as a kid, and I would always replay the sky levels because I jammed to the music :)
The music is so enjoyable and pleasant to hear...I do not care what anyone thinks...I like "Super Princess Peach" video game a lot.

I played this game and found it really hard actually. Way harder than any Mario-game I've played.
I just played this for the first time recently. I thought it was pretty good. I wouldn't mind seeing more games with Peach as the protagonist.
I remember seeing this game being played on a stream. Seemed like a simple game, but it had some rather solid gameplay mechanics. Rather solid platformer :)

I can't believe this game is like 9 years old. I remember liking this one a bunch. It felt pretty unique to be playing as Peach in a platformer again. Especially her own one.

@***** Such a fuckin shame that women have to go getting upset over (yet another!) game that portrays them in a negatively stereotypical way. We should all just be able to have fun with all the marginalized people pushed further aside to the margins. Being accountable for your own actions sucks sometimes.
@Rurfs A woman protagonist who takes advantage of a woman's strength in a comedic manner to rescue her 'strong man' is totally negative. Women have emotions. In many cases, those emotions are stronger than men's. it is not a weakness, but a genetic strength that allows women increased artistic passion or better empathy in certain jobs. The game shows a women taking advantage of her emotions to overcome obstacles. The joke is that in the end it's a fucking game, one that again portrays Peach comically and positively, and no one can just press a button and swap emotions, or do any of the shit peach does in the game. With this, we can take away that 'Feminists' want women to be portrayed exactly like men, the emotionless physical labor machine they fostered, with no room for silly things like women being strong in their own ways, or being capable. Who cares if Peach is saving Mario? She's not being a man while doing it! Meanwhile if they DID make her burly and a headstomping machine, stronger than Mario, they'd level accusations of it being a 'man with boobs'. Fulla shit, it is, and they wonder why so few games cater to their whims.

@Rayram AureanBlue "Feminazi" is just a derogatory term for feminists. And yes, I am aware that the supposed difference is that feminzais are suppsedly the hardcore nasty ones and feminists are the ones who gave us the vote. It's a bullshit distinction about as nuanced as the supposed difference between "Black person" and the n-word: Sure, Chris Rock built a stand-up bit around it but that doesn't make white boys less racist for using it. Likewise, "feminazi" is just code for "I'm a fucking douchebag.

@batlin I know that people often defend the word "feminazi" like that, but I also know that listeners tend to generalize it to mean "feminists." I also know I came here to listen to some goddamn music and some douchebag decided to pick a flamewar by launching into their political screed. Supradarky's comments don't need sniping comments against political groups we don't like. We're all here for the goddamn music, so just STFU and enjoy.
@Dessa I've never once perceived "feminazi" to mean "feminist". Feminism is a good, healthy thing for our culture to embrace as women are truly capable of anything a man is. A "feminazi" is something I've always perceived as an oversensitive individual (gets offended with the drop of a hat, actively searches for things to find offensive) with an inflated ego and confused ideas about what equality is. While vocal, this group of people is really small in comparison to actual feminists, I think. I believe it's not productive to assume that others are lumping the two groups together, that's like saying the tea party and all republicans are the same entity.

I'm pretty sure we'll never get another platformer starring Princess Peach, but I did enjoy this game in its simplicity. I like when Nintendo tries new formulas, even if they can still feel safe. It's refreshing.
@SupraDarky I like this game so much, I still have it but I cant play it, my Ds is quite old. I remember a lot thunders in the bacground, the music seems pacific, but not that black sky! n_n
