no desire to ever replay this game, and the voice acting was terrible, but loved the card battle system, and the twist that the main character turns out to be the traitor halfway through and then you switch to another character.....brilliant. Good music too.

in my opinion the best song in this game is "To the end of the Journey of Glittering Stars" =D
Somewhere near the end of the game there's a track called "Speaking with the stars" or somthing like that: the piano piece on this track is magnificent. And "Supreme Ruler of the Nine Heaven" is on top of my favs =)
At the end of the game after the credits, the song "To the end of the Journey of Glittering Stars" is played as a lovely music box version.
All the music in this game was so over produced. But that's not a complaint!

I remember this game, seeing it in like a gameinformer magazine when it came out. I remember I was stuck on a boss portion b/c I saved right before and then realized I wasn't strong enough to beat em. Old school rpg's eh?
Oh yeah, that second fight with giacomo in the plane isn't it? jaja...restart all those hours to beat the @#%^#$

Dusting off my Gamecube to play this and Thousand Year Door. Such good games. Loved BK (even the cheesy voices in a box) ^_^ Excellent choice Supra!
I really enjoyed listening to this soundtrack. I really like what Sakuraba did for it. Of all the soundtracks he has done, this game and Dark Souls are probably my two favorite soundtracks that I have listened to (have not listened to any Tales games).

I haven't played this game since it released and I still remember this theme and where it plays perfectly. One of my favorite town themes from Sakuraba. I know Monolith is busy with X, but I'm still hopeful we see a new game from this series someday.

@Patrick Star Doesnt nintendo own monolith now? Im guessing they will be working on Xenoblade series until they decided to do something else. Namco probably owns the rights to Baten Kaitos.
