I love this song. No clue what it actually plays for, but it always makes me think of a recurring, nonthreatening miniboss crew. Something like a gang of street thugs who think they are so cool, but spend as much time bickering with each other as they do fighting the hero. "Why can't we win?" "What is... this?" "Once in a million." "Why the- oh you've got to be kidding me-" etc.

I had this song embedded in my head because I couldn't be them the first time through so I had to start from scratch and grind my way to a higher level.

Seeing this song make it into this list is AWESOME. I've had this song on my Mp3 player since Baten Kaitos came out.

The only thing I totally hate in this game is how you can collect money. TAKING PHOTOGRAPHS OF ENEMIES AND PPL! AJDSLAHDASJKFHSJLF! I hope that if they do Baten Kaitos; Eternal Wings and The Lost Ocean 2 or something, the way you can get money is different. (and yes, I know about Origins, but I want a third game!)

They blew the budget with the Music Motoi Sakuraba is epic win.
Eh, I dunno. The voice acting was, overall, average. I've heard much better in video games (Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem stands out in that regard), but also much worse. I'm sure I don't need to give you an example of a game that sounds worse, seeing as there are trillions of them. The acting in this game is also better than that in The Room. *cue laugh track*

What's funny is that my friend playing it (I already beat it and own it, so I let him come over and play through it) didn't even break a sweat fighting them...his party was at full health. Then the cutscene makes it look like that YOU lost.
<3 the Baiten Kaitos soundtrack. Too bad the one that came with an issue of Nintendo Power only had eight songs on it, rather than being a complete soundtrack. I mean, I don't even think it had this song!

Agreed. The music in this game was unique and entertaining. I loved the main battle theme and boss remix. The True Mirror. All of the battle music was top notch, this included.

The battle musics in BKO were awesome, just not quite as awesome as they were in the first game is all, which I see nothing wrong with.
anyways. i found BK0 funnier than BK complicated and long long battles "system" , and battle musics in bk0 fill my heart with pure love xD
Not gonna argue with that one, the remix in BKO kinda sucked in my books. I just wanted to get the battles with Giacomo out of the way so I could get on with the rest of the game in BKO, whereas in BK, I look forward to doing battle with Giacomo or his goons.
I love this song. I always look forward to doing battle with Giacomo and his goons, because I know this song is gonna play in the background. This is a million times better then Chaotic Dance 2 in my books.

I like this song. Sounds like Motoi Sakuraba went back to his Wolf Team roots when he created this one.

baten kaitos has a whole bunch of battle themes, its awesome! other rpg producers should learn from this.
