This game had both awesome single and multiplayer! Oh yeah and the music was perfect for it as well.
Loved this game, though the large water world level was impossible to complete within that time frame. Also, freakin' loved the final fight with the lava guy and his robot.
Def the best bomberman game I have every played, ahhh (Nostalgia tears).

I had almost forgotten about this gem. I remember how frustrated I'd get trying to beat this game as a kid. Good, good times. One of my faves.

I always preferred Bomberman Hero to this game. It had a great arcade sort of feel to it, and the soundtrack wasn't half bad either.

@adarkerlink The only one I couldn't get was the one in the secret level under the gate, It didn't make any sense to me at the time how to reach it.

I really miss this series. I was actually looking forward to the 3DS game but now that I know it will never be, it's quite sad. Regardless, I loved this game's soundtrack and the 'twist' at the end.
My relationship with this game is purely love/hate. Not to say that it's "bad", just infuriating at times because of the difficulty. And again, not that that's a bad thing.
Bomberman 64: The Second Attack had a FANTASTIC OST (ontop of being my favorite Bomberman game). <3 I never played this one, but its got some great songs.
man i remember spending so many hours on this game in multiplayer with my brother and our cousins, so much fun, and the music is cool
Love the bass in this one. I have to say, I personally wasn't a big fan of the whole pumping the bomb mechanic this game introduced. The multiplayer in general wasn't as fun to me as the SNES games, but I liked the Adventure mode. It's fitting, I remember playing this game during the holidays. I also remember being impressed by the boxart because they added Bomberman's reflection on his bomb (I was easily impressed). Edit: I just realised there's also his reflection on the bomb in the Title! Doubly impressed.
You're right the bass in this one is really good. I have not played a Bomberman game before. I also like how it sounds, it's calming yet upbeat kind of like some of the songs in Kirby's Epic Yarn.
