Yeah, the original Uncharted Waters is so underrated
It was a good start to the series. Like most Koei games, they actually make the sequels better (and more complicated) as time goes on. What killed the first game was the $60,000 gold limit on the person.
hard to believe that, at a time, Koei was producing games that wasn't a (Dynasty) Warriors game :P

For a game that has you in boats with pirates and such, they have a jazz song with reggae mixed in it, wut?
This is just a remix of the song, it sounds much different in the actual games (there were PC, NES, SNES and Sega Genesis ports)

Hey! I played UW on the sega genesis. This was one of the first games I played when I was 6 or 7. Spend my days playing and listening to the awesome soundtrack. I just wish you will be able to upload more UW into here as I already have the UW 2 soundtrack which I love. But UW ost make me look back at my life when I was a small kid. The days I spend the afternoon playing the game after school. Dreaming to be an explorer one day. Lol. Thanks for the upload!

Idk why but I've always liked the NES version of this song (which iirc is called something like "Dance on the Cape of Good Hope (喜望峰でダンス)" but I've never actually found where this title came from lol) more, but I still think this version is incredibly well done as well and can see the appeal to it over the NES one.

For those unfamiliar with Yoko Kanno, she made one of the best (if not THE best) anime soundtrack of all time: Cowboy Bebop. If you like jazz, you'll get a kick out of it. If you don't like jazz, it will make you like it.

I greatly enjoyed your list of all time favorite games Supra I think it would be cool if you did something similar again in the future. Maybe something like the 50 must play games. Even if there is a lot of overlap it would still be interesting.

This song will also go to my Calming playlist as well. I'm surprised this song sounds as clean as it does for 1990. It goes to show how far orchestrated scores have come over the last 20+ years.
Most people played the SNES version (which was very good), but I really like the PC version's clean soundtrack by the greatly talented Yoko Kanno. I've been listening to this one quite a lot lately, it's going directly into my Relaxin' playlist.
