the new tomb raider is a QTE, corridor level design fest that has completely lost the feeling of the original installments of the series.
Got this game for Christmas the year it came out, still my favorite theme tune out of them all.
Maybe I don't understand, but why VGM 1337 will be more epic than the other ? Perhaps it's a joke, because every VGM posted by SupraDarky is amazing
First time I see this "tape mode". Seems fitting since the game came out back when VHS was still used by everyone.
Yeah, I play his Relaxin' with SD list alot while I'm doing programming(the most stressful thing on the computer you can imagine), and it's pretty calming. Of course, I get distracted and look at what the VGM is every now and then, and loose my train of thought...
Hey Supra. Thanks for uploading all of these. I occasionally use them as background music while I'm at work and it's kind of nice to get distracted some times like -- hey, that's really good. What is that? Or, hey... I know that one without looking! :)
The new Tomb Raider is okay but don't expect any challenging gameplay from it

Big fan since the beginning and even love the reboot. I think all the main themes arebeutifu pieces of music and refuse to choose between them. Even Angel of Darkness has incredible music despite the game being the polar opposite of incredible.
I beat no Tomb Raider games, but so far I'm liking very much the latest one. I like this talk of making Lara more "human"

The new tomb raider is fantastic, but just as uncharted borrowed from tomb raider initially, tomb raider borrowed from uncharted. IMO that produced a fantastic game though, so I would try it at some point
They turned the new tomb raider into uncharted, I liked the exploration and tombs from the originals.
Nathan McCree with his classic flute/harp combo for the Tomb Raider themes. I thought this game was a step down from the first two in the series, and I know some people felt a bit of a franchise fatigue back then (due to yearly releases). I tried playing the first games again but they aged quite terribly. I thought Anniversary was a good remake of the first one, I wish they'd give 2&3 the same treatment. The new Tomb Raider looks quite good, but the magic seems to have been lost.
