I had the same bias for the char. designs too, but believe me, this game is worth every dollar... or pound or euro, wherever you live :b The amazing landscapes accompanied by the beautiful soundtrack will keep you playing the game all the way till the ending credits. And the game has plenty of sidequests, which have branching paths so there's even a lot of replayabilty with this already huge game. The only complain I have is the lack of multiplayer. A great game, nonetheless.
I was so glad they gave one of the longest areas of the game (for me at least) one of the best songs in the soundtrack as the bgm.

it's actually neither about time nor money, I can afford both.. what im asking/wondering is.. Is the game actually WORTH sitting through dozens of hours and actually *enjoy* or not. So far im not convinced from what i see. Also isnt blockbuster like..dead by now?

Loved the trailer from Monolith Soft. And this is definitely my favorite track from one of the greatest video game soundtracks of all time.
bu-but.. I WANT to..unng i dont even..unng ok fine lol. No seriously i'd be grateful if someone tells me what's the big hype about this game about. All i see is NOT impressing me.. so maaaybe the characters and story is deep enough. If they are then maybe i'll give the game a chance ya know

I don't think i'm at this part yet, I have to find a way in to the prison now! It's great you already uploaded my favourite track, the marshes. i'll never forget the amazement of just exploring and getting to go to everything you see, there are no boundaries or limits in this game (or okami) and that's what makes it awesome!
espeally the bittersweet title screen theme that i just want to leave the game on and listen to that title screen song all day and all night
right now im just doing some more level grinding because the music of this game is so god damn good that i dont want to continue the game until i finish level gridning some more so i can listen to the bad ass ost some more so i still got a whole game ahead of me until then im going to do finish some side-quests and do some more level grinding just for the sack of listening to this bad ass soundtrack and im not talking about this song im talking the music of colony 6 which is so enchanting

Xenoblade is one of the best games I have ever played. The worst part was the end of the game because it meant that wodnerful journey had come to an end...as least until New Game + ;)

I love the music and I loved the nintendo direct. The Wii U has been used everyday in my house. I love it and even though I knew most of the games were coming it's good to hear concrete evidence. This X game looks like a no brainer to purchase and be stoked about.
Yo SupraDarky you finally played Xenoblade, if not you should because its really a great game. As a warning, try not to do all the sidequests because they are mostly kind of boring and pointless.

If I wasn't hooked on the Wii U already, I sure am now after that Nintendo Direct. Xenoblade was one of the best games I've played and the new Monolith-game is an instant buy because of it, and that was just one of the games
It certainly got my attention. Lots of cool things announced for the Wii U which honestly will only be a secondary console to me much like the Wii was but it's nice to know some of the potential games that should be of high quality when I pick up the system 2-3 years from now.
This is one of my favorite soundtrack of this ost. I could easily listen this track for hours and hours, it's so amazing. I've passed maybe 10 hours walking through this area, while levelling with Fiora, it was so damn good. I'll never forget that moment I enter this giant
I really liked xenoblade... BUT ITS TOO DAMN LONG! seriously i put in 80 hours and i was only like 2/3 done! heres to hoping the new games a bit shorter!
Actually it may be a Xenogears sequel. Rather than a continuation of Xenoblade. The logo is the same as Xenogears.

I actually have this game, though I have had very little time to play it, but from what I have played, the game is excellent and the music really fits all the areas. As for the Wii U, I won't be getting one until they iron out most of the issues.
That really looked like Shulk at the end of the trailer, but I'm sure this is more of a spiritual successor than a sequel. One can hope though. Although, when you think about it, that could have been Klaus/Zanza since he has the same face as Shulk, like some kind of origin story? I know XB's ending and backstory don't really give room for that, but I thought that might be a cool idea.
I thought Smash was the reason to get a Wii U. And then today happened. Between this and Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem, the Wii U just made a lot of people happy. I can name countless friends of mine who said the Wii U was stupid, that today are storming Facebook with "I GOT A WII U! CAN'T WAIT FOR *insert one of today's announced games*"

How about that new X game announced by Monolith Soft? The trailer actually gave me goosebumps once the music got epic and the mechs were showed. It really looks like it's Xenoblade 2. I'll miss the music by ACE+ and the rest, but the game seems to be in good hands with Hiroyuki Sawano. It just felt really good to finally see a game from Nintendo that uses the Wii U's much better graphics capabilities.
