This song combined with the Koloktos battle is an EPIC, memorable scene. Just didn't feel the same fighting Moldarach (same song). Maybe coz of the whole annoying, burrowing bits...

That part of the battle was so epic! Using Koloktos' blades Aginst in such a savage manner is so amazing! This is one battle I wouldn't mind doing again!

Definitely one of the coolest bosses in all of Legend of Zelda. They had me at Dark Shiva Robot.

This is one of the best TLoZ boss fights ever! Watching Link swinging that huge 1-ton saber while thrashing Koloktos into million pieces is so epic.

I think it's funny how the new weapon you're supposed to use in the fight is a wip...A WIP! On paper, that sounds like a terrible idea. But in this fight, wipping Koloktos's arms and tearing them from his body just to take his big ass sword and annihilate him with it...THE WIP IS HYPE!!

Nostalgia. I loved this game, but it didn't beat waking up at seven in the morning when I was 8 years old to play Ocarina of Time. Not much can beat whimsical childhood experiences.

This was not only my favorite boss fight from the game, but probably one of my favorite Zelda boss fights of all time. It was just so much fun to play.

I agree completely. Most bosses in the game weren't too exciting, but Koloktos really felt like a classic Zelda boss. It was a very exciting battle, and I loved the dungeon too. It was one of the sceneries of the game that just had me gaping with awe all the way through.

The music in this game wasn't as memorable, looking back on it a year later. But that doesn't make it bad (might make it better). A lot of it was and still is really good. I'll be starting another playthrough over the holidays, for sure. Great pick.

This music doesn't really stand out to me too much. I feel like the majority of Skyward Swords music was like this with a few exceptions like Grooses theme. I'm not saying the music is bad it's just not as catchy and memorable as the music in the previous games. Koji Kondo just seems to be making epic sounding music just because it orchestrated. It's strange since Motoi and Kirkhope have no problem with making catchy, memorable songs when they moved on to orchestrated music.

Hate this boss. This theme was in my head all the night after finally defeating him or her?.. BUT it was all worth it. Skyward sword is one of the best games i have ever played. Thanks man for always uploading great osts.

I didn't think it was particularly easy although it wasn't as challenging as dungeons from previous games. I didn't think it was linear either...most Zelda dungeons are relatively linear but I will admit SS suffered from linearity in the overworld.

When the zombies chase you up the rope, that's probably one of the most simple but fantastic Zelda set-pieces in the history of the franchise.

Bleh, the Ancient Cistern... I can't think of it without being reminded of those abyssmal water controls :/ At least this fight was pretty good.

For the most part I don't think SS had that many memorable tracks, but this is one of the best for sure. Best dungeon and boss too. The Ancient Cistern was the complete package!

I absolutely loved this boss, so fun. The entire Skyward Sword, while not nearly as challenging as previous Zeldas, was still such a great experience.

Koloktos is probably my favorite boss in the game, a great way to end one of my favorite dungeons, the Ancient Cistern. The dungeon was too easy and linear but its great aesthetics made it memorable, especially when you fall down into the underground level.
