Somehow I knew... * the spoilerish thing about Valeria Chateau * the moment I heard this song! It just sounds like it! And about the game. Really? Was one of the very best JRPGs I played for the PS1.
whaaat??, dude wild arms 2 is probably the best memorable game of the series as well as the best story telling of all of them. That's most likely why they brought that Lord blazer skin and theme song into wild arms 5. Wild arms 2 is simply legendary

It'd be nice to see Naruke work on another big name franchise. Such an underrated composer.
I've played 1~4 and finished all of them but 2. Something broke in my save file, I think. I really want to play 5 but I don't know where to find a copy.
I think that I can say without being wrong, Wild arms 2 was just as good, if not better, than Wild arms 1 (in my opinion at least). And now, it is pretty dang rare that any game sequel is able to live up to it's predecessor, or even able to out do it. Sure I may be wrong, but personally, I felt this game was even more memorable than WA1 for some reason. Could be the music that I loved, who knows.
I have never tried this franchise, but if I would, it would be 'cause of a certain VGM-uploader (I friggin' love the OST's)
WA3 is still my fave, even though the "valiant" spell kinda makes things easy. Of the ones I've played, I'd rate them: 3>5>4>AFC

Yes another wild arms track, I have been waiting for this! I mean sure I could always look up the soundtracks on my own, but there's something about the wait and the suspense that just makes them so much better. I really need to play these games one of these days.
Y'know, maybe you should do videogame reviews. .3. Just a suggestion, but I guess if you did that, you'd stop doing BVGM...
I only really ever enjoyed 1 and 2. Both classics, highly enjoyable, even after multiple playthroughs. 3 was okay, mostly riding on the Western theme, and 4 I purchased but never liked at all. The grid system kinda sucks, IMHO. Way too limited, and yes, there's strategy, but I hated the deviation from the original battle system, which was simple but effective. And I heard about 5, never played. So, to me, the games got a little worse as they went along. The first two are still great, however.

This sounds beautiful and reminds me of good times when I played this game when I was young, dumb and full of cum.
I always loved this theme, simple but memorable. Just like many other JRPGs, Wild Arms is unfortunately pretty much dead since the last generation. It's funny though, I actually realize this series has never been AAA but I still loved it. I guess I could say it's my favorite 8/10 JRPG series. The music was AAA though, that's for sure. I only find Wild Arms 1 and 5 to be excellent games, the rest are either good or very good. My ranking would probably be WA1>WA5>WA3>WA4=WA2.
