A very solid choice with a cool ship design. I used him a lot before moving on to Dr. Stewart (who also has an awesome theme)

It's certainly a pain in the ass trying to unlock the story mode characters on very hard, I even tried snaking but somehow I'm too stupid to make that work. Hardest achievement I was successful in was unlocking the AX Cup.

Aw man this game. It was HARD. Not unlike the other F-Zeros really, but the "Story Mode" (don't remember the actual name) was balls to the wall. But all the more satisfying it was. James McCloud is my pilot of choice ever since F-Zero X. I remember his theme being incredibly clichè 80's Heavy Metal, and I loved it! Also the Cat person's theme.. was it "Leon"? I don't remember. I need to dig through my closet and pop this game in RIGHT NOW! Also, yeah.. F-Zero on the Wii U, WILL be awesome!
I hope that the Nintendoland-Fzero was a teaser for a real F-Zero game coming out. Maybe a beta-version that they changed into NL-style

Nice upload, reminds me of how much fun I had playing this game on the GCN always waking up earlier than usual before heading to class :). Loved Dr Stewart's theme.
To be honest, I preferred Super Arrow and Dr. Stewart's themes much better.

Oh yeah.
What a great game this was, kudos to Sega. It also had one of the most varied soundtracks in a video game thanks to all the character themes. My racer of choice was Octoman but a friend of mine always picked The Skull, which I guess is why this theme stuck with me. It fits him well. I miss this series, what I wouldn't give for a new F-Zero with awesome HD graphics on the Wii U made by the same team. I think most of it has been working on the Yakuza franchise lately.
