Despite Argon Refinery also being fantastic and the most popular track from this game, I'd say this is still better.

It depends on the part of the game you're playing, too. Valve's games have a fantastic mixture of atmospheric tracks and awesome, intense tracks. Listening to the Portal 2 soundtrack, I really can't tell that Robot Ghost Story and The Part Where He Kills You are even from the same game.

It's Breakout on hallucinogens and caffeine with great music! one of my favorite games and absolutely my favorite soundtrack! $10 at CD Baby for all the MP3's, $15 for the CD. Just so you guys know. (on the original site it's $35 for the CD, $3 each track apart)
Very talented composer, and such a great soundtrack overall.
atmospheric music isn't always bad though. Some games were built around atmosphere which doesn't have to be a bad thing. I'd agree graphics don't matter as much, but speaking only about music, some games are just better with atmospheric tracks, so it's not "unfortunate".
Shatter is a game where the music itself is the highlight of the game. I think this shows how important vgm is . Graphics don´t matter (except for simulations), but music certainly do and therefore I hope many video game companies would make as awesome soundtracks as in the 90´s. But unfortunately all they care about are atmospheric tracks and most importantly stunning graphics...

The game is fun, but the only reason it's still on my PS3 is because of this soundtrack.
I really really hope he works on something new too, this soundtrack is pure awesome!
God, almost all of the Shatter soundtrack could get on this list. Only track I DON'T like is Neon Mines... and even that isn't that bad.

One of my favorite VG soundtracks in 2009. Let's hope Module works on other video games in the near future, I haven't heard from him since Shatter.
