The soundtrack of MGS1 was so much more inspired than the sequels, I think it's a shame they changed composers.
+The Flabbergast What about the Metal Gear Solid 2 theme? That stands out as fantastic, at least to me. The rest of that soundtrack doesn't stick out for me, and I never played much of the sequels except for about 1/4 of Snake Eater.
It really is nice, too, it's just that I feel that it's really more bland than what it used to be in the previous game. I think Gregson Williams made the soundtrack unnecessarily match american movie standards. But that's just my opinion : )

I just started replaying MGS1. When this theme kicked in for the first time, I was like "the game has officially started!".

My brothers and I would go in the snowy woods with paintball guns and play when I was a teenager and this song echoed in my head as I dodged and took cover behind trees and boulders. Epic times

I love everything about Metal Gear Solid, the music, the cut scenes, the gameplay everything. It's one of the greatest games ever made. i can remember i got this on Japanise import before it came out over here.....Not an easy game anyway, but not being able to read anything or understand anything, pretty hard lol.

32-bit masterpiece! Remastered in Brawl with more modern technology, but the original still draws up to be superior.
