I fell right into another world as a kid and didn't want to wake up. no other game gave me this feelings. such a masterpiece.
This song imparts emotion no other song does. Fusion at its finest.
When Horace was introduced with this music, I felt perfectly able to trust his motives. Nothing suspicious about him at all.
I think this song is my favorite for this game :)
Probably the best track in the game... Nah, they're all so good, it's impossible to pick one.
Really an incredible piece of music.
I once overheard a (foreign) collector entering a shop, to ask for this.....then the shopowner blurted out that their 2 copies were sold almost immediately to more attentive collectors.
Probably one of the best tracks on the OST!

@SupraDarky A great track indeed, loved the game and I love Jeremy Soule's music. I was wondering why you haven't uploaded anything from the Supreme Commander OST, which I consider to be one of his best works. Check out the song Clash of the Champions, pure epicness. Keep up the good work man.
@scarletspeed7 Secret of Evermore's release, and the lack of a SD3 release are unrelated. You should probably look into that.

This was one of the best games I ever rented. A couple of weeks ago, I wound up longing to hear the title (demonstration) music again. It's a lovely piece, that it is.
@scarletspeed7 I see, it would make sense in that case to not take Square's words for truth. Though i wonder if it would be curious to note that Secret of Evermore was actually designed here in the North American branch of Square Soft, and if Square could of used this as a better chance at reaching North American players with less cost.... Either way, thank you for the response.

Jeremy Soule truly is a legendary composer.
Excellent choice. The only track missing from the set is the Dark Castle theme IMO.

@shadowphantom2 It's been inconclusive. Nintendo has claimed that there was nothing on their end about it. However, Square Soft has rebutted that in materials about Evermore. I had an article in Game Informer actually talking about several games that were cancelled in the US for one reason or another, and they included SD3.

What the hell is that thing on the boxart? Seriously, what the hell is going on with it. It's such a confusing, but oddly compelling mix of disproportion, symmetry, shading, and goddamn it's creepy. Who drew that?
Ah, this game is STILL one of my top rpgs of all time. The music, the story, everything was top notch!
Great mysterious sounding tune! Still trying to predict what the big 1000 will be. My guess is Liberi Fatali, as that's an awesome track from Nobuo that surprisingly hasn't made it to the list yet.

Stats Update: Secret of Evermore is the 62nd game on SD's VGM list to reach the 4 song milestone. Even more impressively, Secret of Evermore is only the third game to reach 4 songs with all songs debuting on this list after number 300. Evermore is also ironically tied on the list now with Seiken Densetsu 3. Gamers may not realize that Evermore's North American release prevented SD3 from getting an NA release on the SNES.
This game stayed in my brain haunting me for years, in a good way.
I freakin' LOVE Horace's theme! It's so unique, beautiful, catchy and kinda mysterious at the same time. Just like Secret of Evermore itself. *-*

I like all the songs in this game, but I can't get into the game itself. To me, it feels like a chore :(
One of my most favorite songs in the game.
One of my favorite SNES games. Queen Bluegarden's theme is my favorite, but I'm a fan of most of the character themes in this game, like this one. I've already said it, but it's mighty impressive that Jeremy Soule was only 19 when he composed the music for this game. The soundtrack has some pretty deep and atmospheric tunes.
