Played the game after listening to this song. I'm not into visual novels, but I admit that I enjoyed this one, it was pretty interesting. This theme is so badass... as nearly everything by 4mat.
Is there another game that's like this?
Supposedly the game "don't take it personally, babe, it just ain't your story" is the spiritual successor of Digital. I think that's horse shit because Don't take it personal is a anime style game. Nothing like Digital.
Analogue: A Hate Story. Also has a sequel, Hate Plus.

I personally thought it was really enjoyable. Good tragedy. Also *Mute is great character. *Hyun-ae's a bit dull though.
+Trollioli It's a spiritual successor in the sense that these games were all made by the same person. That's where the similarities end. Don't take it personally, baby, it just ain't your story, is also a very well done VN but it's just not the same. Same with Analogue.
@LeonisBrafer Yeah I ended up finding the rest of them but I really didn't like them. I thought that the author could have did a much better job moving from 80s computing to the 90s. Shame really, I still listen to the sound track of this game.
...oh wow. I just played this game, and hearing this song out of the blue on your playlist just made my whole body freeze. Man, that was a great game, with great music.

OK, I love this song, and the game was pretty awesome too, but I just beat it and... I never heard this. What the hell? I was waiting almost the entire time for it to play, then suddenly it was over. When is it supposed to play?
I accidentally got the infection from that stupid girl by joining the group too many times so I spent half the game with lines all over my screen and stupid repeating music until I realized it went away when you just quit and loaded, so I ended up missing this song ;-;
Just finished the game. Great experience. I recommend it to anyone wanting to taste something different.

This is one of the last tracks you hear in the game, and is very appropriately placed, considering the intensity of the situation. Loved the game.

I just finished this game (9/11/11 12:35am) and honestly. It was pretty awesome! Great music. Good story. I might just have to go play it again. And i didn't see the ending coming, I was really shocked actually.

@earthboundkid1 the "game" isnt about action. in fact, it's a visual novel. It's meant to tell a story, hence the "novel". Digital seems to focus a lot on the premise of "discovery" than anything else. But, if it's not for you, then it's not for you. To each his own.

@scarletspeed7 I just looked at which 8 secret of mana songs they were. How does he have 8 songs without including any of the really good ones (besides Angel's Fear.) Meridian Dance? Fond Memories? Eternal Recurrence? One of Them is Hope? Now Flightless Wings? Considering clearly SD likes the game, I'd almost be tempted to think we'd have one of these landing on a hundred...but not a thousand.

Ah, I remember playing this game. A little bit tedious at times, but a really fun story still!
Game was incredibly well made, actually was emotionally draining and neither a book or game has managed to do that in a long time.
