Umineko as a franchise is so longwinded in a good way. There's 8 volumes with the first 4 telling the story of a certain incident on a certain island in different ways, and the last 4 giving specific clues on how each incident happened.

I doubt there will be one for awhile. He is currently still doing Rose Gun Days since Season 3 of that is coming out, and his other works. I think he is taking a break from the Mystery genre for a bit.

Umineko soundtrack, love it I find it odd that people would find it out of place in a visual novel though. See: Clannad, G Senjou no Maou, Fate/Stay Night, Muv Luv Alternative, etc.

Huh, just did a good amount of research. It's a detective visual novel game. This is played during the final battle per say, since it's all visual no actual battles so, in essence, one could say this is a sleuthing theme, the music that plays when the lead is proclaiming all the facts and finally laying down the truth as to who the murderer is. In such case, this is easily the best sleuthing theme ever. Professor Layton and Phoinex Wright have nothing on this epic revelation. Case closed.

@Arc13 I mean, even with games soundtracks I love such as Castlevania, Pokemon, Kingdom Hearts to name a few, I still need to hear it multiple times, play the level, get a certain ways into the song or some combination of the above to love the song. I actually wasn't big on FFVI's music until I plopped myself down long enough to hear it start to finish and now it ranks admist my top 10 soundtracks of all time. So I think it says something when as picky as I am I love this so soon. Great job!

Umineko, just like Higurashi, features incredible music. Both are powerful VNs, and the Higurashi anime is addictive as hell.

This is a visual novel for the PC, a japanese doujin game. So yeah I've never played it, but it's been highly rated. I really like this theme, it's long and varied with a nice sound quality. Pretty epic.
