This is the boss battle theme I'm using this Friday at Dungeons & Dragons. My normal fight theme is Gourmet Race (Brawl's metal cover), the town theme is Twilight Princess's Castle Town theme, the travel theme is (duh) Route 1, and the dungeon theme will be The Minish Caps's Dark Hyrule Castle theme!

This has always been my Favorite of the entire KH Soundtrack. It's very powerful. You got a lot of great instruments+Choir=Greatness
they said that KH3 is not going to be made until they finish "FF VS XIII", so.. we'll see it eventually, the question is "will we see it before we die of old age?"

I remember my aunt showed me Kingdom when i was about 5 or 6, she said "This game is REALLY good, you should try it!" I said "Disney? i doubt it's that good, i mean, Donald Duck killing monsters? meh" Later in that year, i gave Kingdom Hearts a try. after a while playing the game for a few hours, my aunt came by and asked "So what do you think of it now?" I replied "This is the best game, ever!" Kingdom Hearts changed my life.

Imagine a Kingdom hearts 1 & 2 reboot/ classic remake on PS3? The graphics would be soooo insane O_o

I just relize now that the choir at the begining says "Destati" O_O a bit to late to relize that, but the choir is freaking amazing!
I just love how such a charming sounding premise can be made so interesting and deep with such thrilling music and very polished gameplay mechanics. Although KH2 was the last KH game I played, I'm still a fan of the OST.

@Kingofevil565 The official name for the music in the Xion final form boss fight is "Vector to the Heavens". "Dirge of the Fourteenth" is technically the arrangements name. Although I like "Dirge of the Fourteenth" as a name better for this song.

@herofromthedark I wouldn't go that far. Specially if you've seen Advent Children, where Cloud and Sephiroth very similar things. When I posted that comment I was referring to FF characters in the KH universe(Tetsuya Nomura FF characters). FFVI can actually claim going to the end of the world and in fact taking it a step further.I'm just laying claim that they're total badasses(the other characters in the game just watched! C'mon Cloud...), not that they're the only ones to have done it.
@Arc13 Hah! You're damn right! Plus, ask yourself this... how many Final Fantasy characters can throw friggin' SKYSCRAPERS at their enemies? And when that doesn't work, with just ONE slash, cut it into a dozen pieces to destroy the guard of a giant dragon the size of the moon? None!

@SupraDarky You must have loved BBS. I can only assume that anyone who was a fan of Kingdom Hearts for its themes would love it. BBS vol. 2 is gonna be sick. Hopefully that will be the last thing they make before KH3.
This is the one piece of music I remember most from Kingdom Hearts (besides This Is Halloween and the Halloween Town battle music).

@0MakoBlaster0 Well, first, you should plat Chain of Memories, BUT if you don't feel like buying it (it's not that good compared to the other games IMO), you can just watch all the VOICED cutscenes from the PS2 version, RE:Chain of Memories, that way you'll understand KH2 much better, trust me.

@daytimesky I never used any magic other than healing in the first game, so that wasn't much of change. The first game was mostly linear too so the second game didn't bother me much. I agree, the first game is more challenging, but that's hardly a big issue. However I do feel KH2 was a much more diverse game, and a lot tighter gameplay wise. And it's one of the few examples where QTEs are used in clever and interesting ways. KH2 butchered Ariel and Hollow Bastion, though...
@daytimesky Ah really? I love the second game so much more. I like the characters more, they've grown up and they're much less whiny. The worlds are even better and have some of my favourite disney lands (POTC? Lion King? Hell yeah). The game is much longer. You're just lying with 'fewer secrets' because the game is packed with them (100+ hours, 97%...sigh). I adore the battle system, its much more active. I do agree that it's easier, but they make up for it by having a ton of enemies on screen
@Smarty4789 Strongly disagree. The second game is VERY linear in its level design with very few secrets to look for, magic has become a joke (there's no reason to use any spell other than healing), and with a lot of the attack abilities you gain, it soon reaches the point where only the boss fights are tough, even on the higher difficulty. To me, the second game was a colossal disappointment.
@SupraDarky Personally, I think BBS is great. Although you don't have teammates alongside you, it feels a lot like the first game to me in terms of level design (as long as you're not playing as Terra, who visits linear versions of the worlds!!), and I find it a lot of fun. As long as I'm not playing as Terra.

@Arc13 I should add to that, the story I don't find terrible, but it's ridiculous to claim it to be ultra deep, when the creators themselves have claimed it be a story of light vs dark, nothing more. On a side note, is it odd this sounds epic side by side with a silent Nyancat?
@Sickopath333 Yeah. I still don't understand a friend of mine, convinced not only is it the greatest game ever, but it's because of it's story. He also from his explanation has made it seem much deeper than what it is. He believes they're actually referencing people as nobodies and heartless, and it plays into how racist society is at those that don't understand others. Can't seem to grasp the concept it's just light VS dark with a bunch of blah blah blah WTF in it.

I still need to get a PSP and play Birth by Sleep. The only thing that pisses me off about Kingdom Hearts is that it can't have its plot continue without something in between the numbered games. Which reminds me, I still need to get Re:Coded.
@SupraDarky your about to have loads of fun. Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep mixes the fun of Kingdom Hearts II with the gameplay of Final Fantasy Crisis Core. The music is amazing and the special moves are phenomenal. Have Fun
@SupraDarky I hope you enjoy BBS. It isn't as good as KH2 in my opinion, but is easily second best. The finale of BBS alone makes the game incredible
The first Kingdom Hearts will always be my favorite. Everything about it was perfect. Then, the rest of the games lost perfection. Still fun, but the first is always my favorite.
The next one should come out on the Wii U.

We here of Final Fantasy characters stopping the end of the world. Sora and his friends are so badass they flat out went to the End Of The World, where no one can survive, and not only survived, but they smacked it in the face with a key and told it to simmer down. And you know what? It simmered the hell down.
Kindgom hearts 1 = Best kh ever... no best GAME ever. This music is epic. The fight against the final boss is epic too. Thank you for publish this.

@SupraDarky BBS is a great prequel to the series. If you want the secret ending fast don't be afraid to play on Hard mode with every characters story. Proud mode is the real hard mode.

@MakeMeMad31 The Last boss was freaking easy if you over-leveled all your characters. Guy with infinite life and a 1-hit KO sword... You mean Sephiroth? He. Is. Impossible to beat.

Well I'm about to start playing Kingdom Hearts BBS on the PSP. It's been a while since I played Kingdom Hearts II which I really liked, so I'm looking forward to getting back into this series. It's also an excuse to dust off my PSP which has been sitting there for about a year. Destati is a classic to me, it's a theme I immediately recognize. I'm a fan of the music in this series and the bipolar atmosphere which is sometimes light and other times dark.
