The Genesis has such a "cheap" sound compared to the SNES.
I prefer the Genesis its more video game ish the SNES just tries to sound realistic but it fails.(not with Mega Man X thogh)

Masteriim23 let me introduse you to Larcen one of the most coolest characters in this game whats the No.1 in my opinion you ask? See that Cutie with the mask on the front? Thats Shadow Yamoto the best female ninja ever created
definitely matches the bios of a bunch of people who had untimely, and awful deaths. The designs and scenario were pretty good. I actually didn't remember any of the music. I played this game a bit in the past. Somehow never payed attention to it's music.
I always liked the guy w/ the grappling hook and trenchcoat!!

I for one still hold onto hope. Fighting games are making a comeback (Mortal Kombat, Tekken, Marvel vs Capcom). And with Sega throwing in its lot with Namco and Capcom for a triple crossover fighting game...who knows. We could see something like "Eternal Champions: Darkness Eternal" or something like that.

@SupraDarky Wow, BTnH must really like Eternal Champions. They sampled this for Eternal, and they used the Bad Ending theme for the original version of "Crossroads".
Never heard of this game, but Will Smith Green Lantern could convince me to play it.

Ahhh, I always used to play this as a kid. I was mostly the mage guy, because I found his special moves the easiest to pull off.

This was one of those fighting games that made you kidna feel bad for the characters because they are all basically good and died trying to do something good. The music was awesome for this game, too! I just wish they would remake this game for the new systems!

@TheRealVordox It maybe serene, but it's also very melancholic. The melancholy atmosphere of this song fits very well with the character bio screen, since the back story and fate of each character is very dark.

I remember this game. My brother came back one day and got this game at a used video store. We played this game like crazy! (we love fighting games) I used to choose the wizard looking guy with the staff all the time. Anybody remember his name? I forgot. :\
