Hah, I love seeing this on here. One of the reasons I loved La Mulana so much was its amazing music. This game is spectacular. Have you heard of a game called 'Spelunky'? It's another freeware indie game very similar to La Mulana, and it also has an extraordinary soundtrack. You should give it a go ;).

I've never played an MSX game but I'm really digging the way this sounds. Should be interesting to see how the Wiiware port fares. I wasn't a fan of what Nicalis did with Cave Story's music, though to their credit they did give you the option of using the unaltered tracks. Hopefully they'll do the same with the this (excluding tracks like this with copyright issues).

@SupraDarky Actually, they're modifying this song because they can't leave well enough a-goddamn-lone. They did the same thing with Cave Story's music, I believe.
Just like Cave Story, this is a free indie game you can download for your PC. It plays a bit like a Metroidvania and it's quite hard. The game itself is also inspired by the MSX (graphics and music). They're making a Wii version as well and this particular song will have to be modified since it took some melodies out of another game (Ashguine 2).
