Best Action RPG ever made. Period. Not only that, but this game wins the award for most replayable game of all time, as well. Six characters to choose from, each with their own story line, six total classes per character, three total party members, each with their own roles (depending on who is in what role can change the dialogue, and even the story in some ways). You could play this game 6,435 times (if my math is correct (which it probably isn't)), each time having a completely different experience. I can't think of another game like this that even comes close to its greatness.
I can't believe this is coming out of an SNES. This is like CD quality stuff right here.

IMO this song feels really much better when played right before listening to Meridian Child.

@SupraDarky the ability to choose characters is actually the main factor why i prefer this game over secret of mana^^ that and the fight system, which i find much cooler in seiken densetsu 3. but that's just me :D oh, i forgot to mention that this game is actually one of my all time favorite games, so thanks for uploading another song^^

I love Kikuta's instantly recognisable style :), too bad he's not as well known as others
too bad this game was never released outside of Japan... well there's a Hacked version around the web... but it's not the same as playing it with your snes
@SupraDarky I own a near mint copy of this game and I have replayed this game so many times I can't remember how many times I played it. As you said, game has amazing replay value coupled with one of the most amazing soundtracks ever to grace the SNES, so this definitely goes into my top 5 favourite SNES RPGs, both in terms of gameplay and music.
How ironic that I decide to replay this game for the fourth time and this video comes up. Secret of Mana really had great music.
While I still prefer Secret of Mana, I really liked how you could choose different characters, all with their stories and specific class trees. It really boosts the replay value, and of course Kikuta contributed to the game's greatness with an awesome and unique soundtrack.
