Sonic's one of those series that I could never get in to. Even in its glory days on the Genesis, I could never quite enjoy it. If any game's gonna win me over, it'll probably be this one. It looks really cool =P I'm just hesitant to buy it since I've been disappointed with this series before =P

Wow, it's been a long time since I've deeply enjoyed a Sonic game. This is definitely a step in the right direction. I'm glad I decided to give him one more chance.
Now that I've seen it in use, GOD I wish this was used someplace else in the game! The best theme, for a menu you'll be at for maybe 5 minutes total in the game, each visit for a mere 2 seconds? ARGH! This deserved some either the planet selection menu, title screen, or from the way it sounds some dramatic final stage of some sort, or possibly even a credits theme. But a mere menu? Doesn't do this song justice.

@SupraDarky Yea, but did you play the DS version. While the 3D console version was solid but 3D sonic standards (which aren't very high), the DS sonic might have been the best sonic game ever made. It was brilliant.

I've gotten every Sonic game admittingly as a gift(great grandmother before she died about 4 years back always thought I was 8 years old)& after I've almost gotten them out of tradition. But this is one I actually want to go out & get myself, not because everyone's saying "Sonic's back!" cause last I checked Sonic never died, he just had a bad console streak & decided to back seat to handhelds was all(Sonic Rush one of my fav Sonic games ever). It's because going back to his roots this time.
