As much as I loved Shatter, this is one case where the quality of the soundtrack outshines the game itself. Absolutely outstanding music here, this artist deserves so much more recognition!
When the guitar kicks in at 2:16 I get Dynasty Warriors vibes.

I was surprised myself how complex and stunning their soundtrack is when I first played it. Simply a great soundtrack to relax or get motivated to!
This is basically a space opera without lyrics. Stunning stuff.

Great soundtrack, but if listened on a good pair of headphones or 50€ IEM's you can hear some weird noise from the guitar. That typical noise when sliding your hands on the strings.
I don't always view that noise as a bad thing. For example, I think it improves Bastion's soundtrack to have that sliding sound present, especially on tracks like Build That Wall. Now for music that isn't going for a certain aesthetic, like the future-folk of Bastion, it would be undesirable and distracting.

The very beginning reminds me a little of one of the levels from Bomberman Hero for the N64.

Best. Soundtrack. Ever! Full of beats, strange instruments, and it really gets my blood pumping. The game itself is one of my favorites too, like Breakout but on Hallucinogens and Speed! But about the soundtrack again: No wonder it's purchasable as a CD, really!
So we all agree that 3:18 is the best? Because goddamn does it get me pumping to shatter bricks.

Got the OST (though it sounds different to your one, not sure if that's just encoding or what) but not played the game. Hard to tell what my favourite is though I would hazard a guess at Argon Refinery or the Boss music because I love the bit in the middle.
I sure wish I was having some money to spend...

I always loved songs like this. A nice high tech feel that doesn't take itself too seriously.

This one is pretty nice, for me though Amethyst Caverns is the highlight though.
Shatter was a fun game, I bought it on Steam. The music really was its highlight though. If you have some money to spend, I definitely recommend the OST.
