So two weeks ago, I played Bubble Bobble on an old-fashioned Arcade Machine, needed coins and everything. And since then, I've had the main theme stuck in my head. I've also been listening to the whole list over the past week in an attempt to drive it out. Then today, finally, it stopped repeating. So much for that. Ah well, at least it's nice.

I remember this game being on one of those sit down cocktail table machines in one of my favorite restaurants. It is indeed engrained into my childhood. Not to mention the guys are more popular than Master Chief.
Ahh... this song brings me WAY back. I used to beg my mom to rent this game for me as a child. The money she spent renting it for me was probably enough to pay for our own copy.

I've been wondering what this theme reminds me about. Then it hit me: 0:22 and onwards the theme sounds for some seconds like the very first Game Corner theme in the Pokemon series.

This song is programmed down to the bone in my subconscious.. 200 levels with this song does that to ya plus 1 didn't clear it all the first time
A classic indeed. I like the arcade version music better but more people played this on the NES.
@Masz52 I played Super Bust-A-Move 2 before I ever heard of Bubble Bobble. I think the people who designed the Super Bust-A-Move characters were high or something though, they are the most ridiculous things I've ever seen
youtube the c64 version. The game looks like a mess but theme is a whole lot better. C64 rocked at audio but that's about it :)

oh no why not upload the arcade version or commodore 64 version rather than the nes version. I understand the love for 8-bit music but if there is a better quality version out there then why not
Oh... so this is where this comes from.
I remember playing this game with my older brother when we were kids.We'd spend ages trying to get passed this one level (I think it was around 65) where one player had to shoot bubbles so the other could jump up on them, getting up a platform where the enemies were. Best times of my life :)
Oh, this gave some memories. I used to play this with my cousins when I was little. That hurry really got irritating after a while XD
